Food is amazingly good! I got a Classic Smashburger and was floored by the flavor. Just be sure to use napkins The fries are fantastic and normally I hate waffle fries but these were some of the best fries I've had in a while. The sauces that came with it were great.

My father got some peri peri chicken (hot) and that was also delicious. No one at the table had anything bad to say about the food.

There was outdoor seating enjoyed by many, but we chose to sit indoors and people-watch in the charming, bustling area on a Sunday afternoon. Great experience as out-of-towners!“

The place looks run-down, with worn-out chairs and a bare minimum table, but it was a good place for lunch after visiting the National Building Museum. I would go back for the food, not the decor.“

“Their signature thing The Gyro is spot on copious gyro meat balanced well with tomatoes, onions and tzatki. The side Greek Salad was tasty but heavy on the greens and a real Greek salad is cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, green peppers. I ordered way too much as the Gyro is a lot. Enjoy! Opa!!
PS Dolmades are cooked fresh when you order and are hot which was me to me, but also spot on. A really good side if you like Dolmades.“

“I’ve been to Tokoa about a dozen times now and every time I order their house cheesesteak. The problem is that this house cheesesteak changes about twice a month. I’ve seen it go from “The Steak” to “TK Cheesesteak” a handful of times now. With every name change, the sandwich itself changes too.

Last month, when it was “The Steak”… Holy Jeebus. It was probably the greatest meaty amalgamation one could ever ask for. It had tender, perfectly seasoned chunks of steak, lettuce, tomato, house sauce, melted garlic butter and it was topped with fried onions. I must’ve ordered this sandwich about 5 times in the span of a week or two. I even made a fool of myself and tried to order a large size (which they didn’t have for this version). I would do anything for that sandwich.

As of this month, it’s back to the “TK Cheesesteak”. This is your typical thinly-sliced steak with provolone and the usuals. Is it more true to a real Philly cheesesteak? Sure, and it’s still a pretty damn good one.

But nothing compares to “The Steak”.

I can’t speak to the rest of the menu, but it’s clear that the food here is made-to-order, super fresh, and sprinkled with love. Good stuff.“

If you're sensitive about cheese sharing space with meat in the slicer, honestly just ask them to wipe down the slicer before cutting your cheese. “I placed a large order for my daughter’s high school volleyball team and needed to make several last minute modifications on the day the order was to be picked up. I called in and spoke with Lucky and the manager Olman. They both were extremely professional, pleasant, and assured me that the order would be filled correctly. They walked me through the process of changing the order and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was correct and my questions were answered. From start to finish the experience was 10 out of 10 - from ordering online, to making order modifications, to picking up the order (shout out to Alec for helping take orders to the car) - I couldn’t believe how smoothly everything went. And best of all the girls were happy with their meals! I can’t say enough how fantastic this experience was and how grateful I am to Olman and team for coming through for us.
