The added 20 percent was a bit confusing but the food was delicious, the staff was amazing and it was a great experience for sure. “The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club: A Delightful Dining Experience Last evening, we had the pleasure of dining at The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club in Ocean City, Maryland. Our reservation was for 8:15 PM, and despite potential parking challenges, we found it surprisingly easy to find a spot. The restaurant’s recent remodel is evident as you walk up the stairs into the inviting dining area. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted at the hostess stand and seated immediately. We appreciated the choice between indoor and outdoor seating, and the variety of seating options available, from semi-circle couches to large arrangements for bigger parties. Our server was attentive from the start, quickly providing us with water, drinks, and menus. After a brief look at the menu, we received a thorough rundown of the evening’s specials. The noise level was perfect, allowing for a pleasant conversation, and the open-air setting provided a comfortable breeze. For appetizers, we chose the crab dip and crab deviled eggs. While both were enjoyable, the crab deviled eggs stood out as the better of the two. I also tried a drink called “Lost in the South,” a refreshing blend of lemon and bourbon that became my favorite part of the evening. For the main course, I opted for the boardwalk fries with a crabcake, a dish labeled as an Eastern Shore Maryland specialty. It was served with tartar sauce and met my expectations with its classic flavors. To finish off the meal, we each selected different desserts. The restaurant’s take on the Maryland Smith Island cake, a cookies and cream version, was a delightful surprise and possibly even better than the traditional version. I highly recommend trying it if it’s available. Overall, The Tide Room offers a wonderful dining experience with excellent service, a comfortable atmosphere, and delicious food. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Ocean City.”

“It's always a challenge going out for a bite to eat in OC in the off season as you never know what you are going to get. After reading reviews and looking at menus, I decided to check out Liquid Assets and what a great decision that turned out to be. Walking in alone, I was quickly greeted by Kyle and Joe at the bar and directed to an open seat at the bar. After a brief run down of the drink offerings, I asked for a beer and they recommended a local brew that did not disappoint. Before I had a chance to look at the menu, Kyle brought over a specials menu which was both amazing and overwhelming, and this was just the special menu, as the regular menu pretty much covered every palette imaginable. Interested in the 2 fish options, I asked Kyle for his recommendation and without hesitation, he suggested the Pan Seared Monkfish with which I went and He was not wrong. It came out beautifully presented and was probably the best fish dish I've experienced. Alrhough the fish was cooked perfectly, the star of the dish was how it was presented and everything else it was served with. I went out with an open mind and I was wowed by the experience. Rare do you find stellar staff and 5 star meals but on April 7th, 2025, I did in a town full of less than stellar options. Thanks to locals who care about what they do and who they work for and to Liquid Assets for making OC MD better. cheers.”

“Hands down the BEST Italian meal we’ve ever had. We had Mozzarella in Carrozza, so delicious. My husband is a self-proclaimed veal snob and he said the veal Marsala was absolutely the best he’s had (and he’s had a lot fro over!) I had the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. The pasta was clearly made fresh and cooked perfectly. The bolognese was so flavorful but not heavy. Portions are refreshingly sized appropriately and so completely satisfying. Generally we’re not dessert eaters, mostly due to being overfilled by oversized portions. Ordering dessert from Ristorante Antipasti was a forgone conclusion. I don’t know which was better, the Chocolate Lover’s cake or the Vanilla Butter Cake. Been coming to Ocean City for years and this was our first visit to this restaurant and now tops the list of favorites. Loved everything about it, atmosphere was relaxed but elegant, met the owner who was delightful and appreciative. Highly recommend!!”

“On Monday, August 4th, we had a party of 18 for light fare dining and drinks. Our server, Nikki, was exceptional. Professional, accommodating, super nice and was so efficient. Our food was delivered timely and everyone was pleased with the quality and temperature of the menu items ordered. Not an easy task for such a large party and on a very busy night. “Disappointing Experience Unfortunately, this place did not meet expectations. The portions were very small for the high price, and to make matters worse, no sauces are included—you have to pay $2.50 for each one! I won’t be returning. The value just isn’t there. On top of that, when I shared my feedback, the owner was confrontational and dismissive instead of listening and taking my concerns seriously. To make things worse, other employees appeared to be laughing at me or the situation, which is just plain disrespectful and disgusting. As for the food—it was bland and just not good. The rice was the first thing I tried, and it was bad right away. I followed that with a small bite of chicken, hoping it might be better, but it was also completely lacking in flavor. I couldn’t eat any more after that. Overall, not a good experience. It’s genuinely baffling how this place has a 4.7-star rating on Google Reviews. There’s only one other supposed kabob restaurant in Ocean City, so maybe that’s the only reason this place is rated so highly—but it certainly isn’t because of the quality or service.”

“My better half and I walked into what we thought would be a just another diner…but we were greatly surprised! I loved the laidback atmosphere, friendly staff, especially our server, Muhammad. We arrived early enough in the morning so we had plenty of seats to choose from. We shared a golden yolk, avocado toast platter and my better half add a cleansing smoothie. The platter itself was massive as it had four eggs on top of avocado and delicious sourdough bread. What a wonderful place! We definitely will be coming back here the next time we stay in Ocean City.”

The place was busy for a Saturday night, and we went about 5pm and were able to take advantage of the happy hour until 6pm. We were seated upstairs right away and had drinks and appetizers to start. the entrees came shortly after, and all was good! The server (Tenijah) was great! She had a great personality, a nice smile and checked on us the whole time we were there. She actually told us that she had only been there a couple of weeks, which we found hard to believe because she was excellent. She also told us that you are open all year .We will definitely be back.”

My boyfriend got the boom chi-king noodle and was pleased with it! The spring rolls were crispy and the sauce that came with it was tasty. Overall, you can’t go wrong with these prices and portions. The only thing i can think of is some gochujang sauce on the side would’ve complimented the bulgogi.”

Sahara Cafe is, now, on our “must visit” list! Staff is very friendly and super efficient. The cafe is homey and traditional, reminiscent of restaurants from my youth - that great diner feeling. Let’s talk about that giant cup o’ Joe… delicious, hot, and the size of a “FRIENDS” cup!! What?! Not having to wait for multiple refills?! That’s right. Not that you’d have to wait because their servers are very attentive and accommodating. Five stars, for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Our go-to when in town!! seated quickly. Coffee came quickly and we were not rushed to order. We had a cheese Danish ($3.99) to start. Then "eye opener" w/ meat (2 eggs over, home fries, and a ton of bacon!) $14.99. I had the creamed chip beef w/ home fries $14.99. Both servings of home fries and of bacon were very generous!! Dryden, our server, checked on us regularly and kept our coffee hot and full. Food came fast, hot and well presented. Out total bill, before tax and tip was $40.94 for to full tummies!!!! We took a carry-out box with a muffin, home fries and bacon home!”

The sweetest waitress helped me to the bathroom and offered to wait for me. Your guest waited at the foot of the steps and watched my belongings. I didn’t catch either of their names and other staff could have been involved I was pretty dizzy and not feeling well at all. I just want you to know how awesome your staff is and will always be thankful. I live in NC and visit my mother here every summer and will continue to visit Lennys yearly. If you’re looking for a good meal the ribs are a real treat! The beer is served cold and their house made drinks are worth a shot if you’re feeling adventurous! The only snafu I had was using a walkie talkie while I was there and I disrupted maintenance’s station, and for that I apologize and hope they can forgive me. But when you come to ocean city make sure you stop by at this location for the opportunity to make memories that will last a lifetime.”

“We visited the Crab Bag Gift Shop while at the beach last month and the customer service was excellent! They did not have what we needed in our size so the manager,Julie, offered to order and ship it to us. She was extremely helpful and pleasant. The store has a large variety of anything Maryland and of course anything to do with crabs, if you haven't done so already you should definitely check it out! We also ate at the restaurant, and the crabs were some of the best we've ever had.”
