“4.5/5. Nothing too fancy, just good take-out Chinese. I had the chicken broccoli and chicken lo mien with an order of spring rolls (2). Best I've had in the area so far. They cooked the chicken and broccoli to my expectations. The spring rolls were crisp and packed full of veggies. I enjoyed the lo mien. After trying a few places in the Laurel-Severn area which were disappointing... I will definitely be back to try more dishes in the future.“

“Chose to take my daughter here for her birthday (25th). Neither her or my 12 year old liked the shrimp or chicken fried rice. Slimy. sticky. Neither girl ate more than two bites. We told the lady (assuming owner) they didn't like it.... she said "well you ordered it". No offer to try something else or anything. As a matter of fact she was rather rude from the time we arrived. Wish I would've read reviews before coming. I honestly didn't like my meal either-- beef was tough. Only thing enjoyed was the sushi my 13 year old ordered. Only reason my husband left a tip was because it is the right thing to do at an establishment/resteraunt.“

“We booked a private room for our daughter's birthday. The service was excellent (very pleasant). The sushi and sashimi was so tasty. I enjoyed the red bean mochi. They brought an ice cream platter and sang happy birthday too. Also the clientele was very kind and wished our daughter Happy Birthday on the way out as well. Great experience!“

“This place has one heck of an atmosphere! Walls are decorated to make the place look as Japanese as possible. TV was on, playing a Japanese TV network. The restaurant had a visible food preparation area where the sushi chefs enthusiastically did their work. Restaurant did not pinch pennies on the waiters' and chefs' uniforms. The restaurant is on the corner of a row of several adjacent buildings and I liked their use of their window space. Once you open the door, the entrance is well-decorated, too. The podium the host stands behind is oddly situated, but they are making their best use of a small space, so no points taken off. The restroom was clean. I ordered escolar, toro, orata, and chicken katsu. All more than acceptable quality. I did not like the katsu sauce, but I think that's just a personal preference matter. They threw in some extra food- tuna in a circular configuration with some other elements I couldn't figure out- which I guess worked, since I'm here, writing this five-star review! Plates were high-quality, and designed to make the food more presentable.“

“I eat here so much I can't believe I'm just writing a review. Here's what I appreciate about Sushi Q...always consistent. The food is always prepared well. Everything tastes fresh and the service is always good. Their signature sushi rolls are amazingly creative and always good. My favorite of all of them is the Veterans Highway roll with real crabmeat. You have to try it. It doesn't matter if you eat in or get takeout, you will not go wrong here! Next time I'll take a pic of the deliciousness!“

“By far the best food and service you will get dining at BWI. The rolls are all freshly made and better quality than you will get at most sushi restaurants. The servers are attentive and you can actually get service quickly, unlike most airport restaurants. A variety of high quality sake options, as well as Japanese beers.“

“I like eating here and any of the other branches of Sushi Q because you always know what you're gonna get if you dine in: miso soup, sushi, and a small cheesecake dessert in a consistently clean/ minimalist space. It's not the fanciest sushi in the area, but sometimes I just want to eat a whole bunch of eel avocado roll and that's what I can get here fresh and affordable. I like to dabble here and there with some of their specialty rolls, but they do my favorite kind so well. Service is scientifically efficient and food can take a little while to prepare, but I'm not usually in a big rush. There's always a line out the door for online/mobile orders. When dining in, there's hardly ever a wait even though it can get crazy busy during dinner. They also have good lunch specials here. We will be back for more.“

“This restaurant had great service. I enjoyed a late lunch here with my son. The atmosphere was awesome, clean and appealing. The food was AWESOME, great presentation, the miso was nice and hot. My son had the Akiro Volcano Ramen and I had a curry rice dish with shrimp tempura and it was delicious. Such a full rich taste. We will be dining here again.“

“If you live in the local area, this place is a no-frills sushi place with pretty quick service and pretty presentation. My partner and I like to go here mid-week for dinner when we don't feel like cooking. All of the seats are wooden booth seating, which I really like. The waiters are professional and attentive, but don't circle back too often. The sushi we order doesn't have too much rice packed on like other places. On our most recent trip, I got the unagi don and he got the pork katsu curry. We will be back!“

“This is my first time coming to Sakura Express. It is very clean and inviting. I ordered the Coconut Thai Curry Ramen and the Crystal Shrimp Dumplings. The food was seasoned well and yummy. They have very good portion sizes also! In addition, I appreciated the free miso soup and water. Great customer service! I will be coming back!“

“The food is exceptional, although it can be found looking up Chinese food, it's Japanese American hibachi style food. It's the only "Chinese" my husband will eat. I am a little disappointed that they don't offer pork, but I do understand their reasoning. Would definitely recommend.“

“Eaten here a few times and really like the food. The prices are reasonable. Although with many other restaurants, prices seem to have gone up and portions have stayed the same. My go to was the steak and scallops and it doesn't disappoint, but the price is a little steep and have to save for special occasion.“

“Katana Sushi of Elkridge was amazing. The sushi was super fresh and very tasty. I’ve tried the other sushi restaurants in the area and around Columbia and I like Katana more, they really impressed me. I also really liked their customer service and how pleasant they were. Highly recommend them. All the rolls were delicious!“

“I just have to say this is by far my favorite sushi resturaunt ive ever been to and their food never dissapoints. I have relied on their sushi in times of personal grief, depression, and mania. I love this place so much. I wish I could tip all of the chefs $100 each everytime I order from here I just love them. I can't reccomend this place enough. their chicken teriyaki is bomb, shrimp teriyaki is bomb, their spring rolls are delicious and crispy, their sushi is AMAZING I highly reccomend their rolls that feature their spicy tuna especially! (My favorite is the volcano roll) but most of all surprisingly my favorite item on their menu is their yum yum sauce, it's to die for. I don't know what they put it in it but it's better than any other yum yum sauce I've ever had. I just can't say enough about this place I genuinely love it. “The food is tasty and they are pretty quick with their service. They now have a self ordering kiosk which we haven't used but plan to next time. I only gave the atmosphere 3 stars because it's not much for atmosphere. They have a few tables to sit and eat but I never used them. Mostly sit and wait. Overall they give you a decent amount of food. If you have a lot of orders they give you a box to carry your stuff out. But that was recent due to the plastic bag ban.“

I visited last night with my bestie and we enjoyed the Pink Lady Roll, Godzilla Roll and Shrimp Fried Rice. I had never had a pink lady roll but they always looked so pretty in pictures so it was a must try! I loved it! The tuna and steamed shrimp paired perfectly. The Godzilla roll was crunchy and had just the right amount of saltiness. The fried rice was steaming hot and, with a dash of soy sauce, became the perfect addition to the meal.The restaurant itself is small inside but it adds to the intimate vibes. I would definitely recommend as a date night sushi place or a girls night like we had. The drinks are very reasonable and do not Disappoint! Try them while you finish up your holiday shopping in the area and thank me later!“

“I have a habit of reading reviews before going to a restaurant. I was hesitant when I first saw the bad reviews here, but once I went in I thought everything was so good. All the food we ordered was delicious and very reasonably priced. This is crazy. Makes me think those bad reviews are malicious comments from some people. They are not real. “Been here multiple times in a short period because they are consistently delicious! Photos were rushed I was so hungry. The honeydew melon smoothie is the best thing Ive drank.. if there is a previous review saying something was the best im sorry ... this is it! I tried kiwi as well and it was so perfectly sweet and sour. The noodles are cooked well the food is great. The dumplings were delicious and we tried the tempura shrimp burrito it was great as well. I love the quiet and cleaniness of the eating area.“

“We had the steak egg rolls and Singapore rice noodles (combination). The Singapore rice noodles were the best I've ever had anywhere, and I've tried this dish at many restaurants in the past, as it's one of my favorites. We also shared sushi, which was very tasty. The portions were all large enough to share. I would recommend this place and I'll definitely be going back when I'm in the area again.“
