“Steve is the most amazing bartender. Look at the definition of 10,000 hours to master a discipline, for cocktail making Steve has done that. 17 years of experience, you are assured to get the most amazing cocktail from homegrown herbs in the smoked old fashioned to the fabulous French 75, to the expresso martini you can’t go “
“Fran was our wonderful waitress. The staff were also pleasant when making reservations. Koco's is a great restaurant to meet up with great friends and enjoy perfectly prepared crab cakes. The Crab dip was delicious, too. ? For my 1st visit, I give Koco's an A+.“
“In my opinion one of the greatest bars in America! High quality live music every single night of the week since the 1970s I believe … that’s gotta be a record. Everyone in this place is chilled. In my opinion a must destination for any visitor and newcomers in Baltimore !“
“Perfect way to start AND end a night when visiting Maryland's best comedy club. If you're there with a tab an hour before the show, you can check-in early and skip the line for will call ? (Just ask one of the fabulous bartenders about pre-seating). At the end of the night, stop back in! You'll get half off your first round of drinks after every show! ?Tons of drink and food combinations to try including the "burger of the month", a new late night munchies menu, and so many bourbon and whiskey options to explore! ?And if you're feeling brave, you can try out your jokes at the bar's comedy open mics on Tuesday and Thursday nights.Love this place.Parking: Not just one, but two free parking lots (located on either side of the entrance). To top it off, the bar is walking distance from the Holiday Inn.“
“I have always wanted to try this place but for whatever reason kept pushing it off and I'm mad I did. I went for date night and there was no happy hour but that wont stop me from going back!Steamed shrimp was perfect! Beer cold, service-good, sliders-great, Buffalo wings had the best sauce ever, celery not limp and was fresh.Arrive early because its small and will get packed quick.“
“I've been going to Mahaffey's since 2010, at least. It's small but cozy in this establishment with a huge bar on one wall, high top tables opposite, and some regular tables and chairs in the back. What stands out to me about Mahaffey's is their solid craft beer options. It's been like this since I've been a patron, which is great. I love the consistency. The food here is good, despite there not being much space for a kitchen and cooking. Staff has always been attentive and friendly. Nothing not to like here (except Mahaffey's is in Canton and I live in Pigtown and thus don't visit as often as I'd like).“
“This place we found on tik tok for a happy hour before keyshia Cole concert. The food was so good . My friend and I ordered seafood quesadilla, honey lemon pepper wings , salmon jerk tacos . Everything was good , we also ordered the hibiscus drink it was good definitely will come back great customer “
“Great place in Riverside neighborhood to meet with friends for pizza and whiskey. Barflys has the best pizza that I have tried in Baltimore. The whiskey selection is great; however, the beer selection and other cocktails is limited—they focus on the whiskey. Service is good, the kind of service you get at your neighborhood bar.My favorite is the meat pizza, but you can build your own.“
“Delia Foley's has trivia on Wednesdays upstairs. We sat downstairs. Service is not bad. Sometimes a little slow, not knowing where the server went but it's probably because they are serving both upstairs and downstairs. The wings are good. Not totally drenched in sauce but we'll covered. Many of their sauces are a variation on their buffalo sauce. The cheeseburger egg rolls were really tasty. I really liked the sauce with them, a variation of thousand Island sauce I think. I'm always a little surprised with how expensive 10 wings can be, but I think it's in align with most places. The wings are listed as MP on the menu. It was about $16 for one order of wings of 10. They have music playing and general vibes are of a bar/tavern. Overall, chill vibes. Good food. Certainly plan on returning.“
“At the recommendation of a co worker I went in on a Thursday for their cheesesteak special and it dit not disappoint. The young lady behind the bar was very attentive, asked now we were doing and if we needed anything often but not too often where it would've been annoying. With hat experience we went back the following Wednesday for their burger special which also was very good. At this point we've done the specials for each day of the week and will continue to go back. Nice little bar with great staff, great food and a cozy atmosphere.“
“Great Bar food! Shared the rhino chasers which never disappoint. We both got wings. My son got shottis sauce which were very good. I got the garlic Parmesan of which were tasty but holy garlic. Both wings were cooked perfect. Sever/bartender was great and very friendly. Ambiance is that of a Baltimore row home bar. Very time.“
“First time my brother and I were here for St. Patrick's Day. The place was really busy, but the servers, bar tenders, and the rest of the staff were awesome. Someone was always available to take an order, clear plates, or come by to check if we needed anything. I ordered their calamari appetizer, meatloaf with mashed potatoes and bread, and my brother ordered their bangers sandwich. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed for a while, and for the start of a live band, they had in for St. Patrick's Day. I definitely recommend checking this pub out if you are in the area.“
“Two guys grill and pub is a consistency tasty and good time. They have amazing eggs Benedict Saturday and Sunday for their brunch til noon, delicious chili during the winter months, as well as great crab cakes, meatloaf, and I honestly can't get enough of their fried pickles. They have karaoke certain nights as well as many TVs with the games on. Overall a reasonably priced place with tasty food and neighborhood feel. The servers are also very friendly and helpful. Good ipas on tap as well.“
“We had the privilege of attending the 'I used to be Irish' Poe house fundraiser tonight at the Annabel Lee Tavern and we were thoroughly impressed and pleased with the entire experience. The drinks were excellent and plentiful, the food was delicious and I cannot even begin to wax poetic about the staff. We never had to wait longer than a few moments, we felt well taken care of and they really went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed the experience.“
“Comfortable atmosphere when we were there for brunch. I got the tots and sausage gravy, which were some of the BEST I've ever had and we were visiting from further south. Family friendly vibes and enough decor to have us noticing new things throughout our stay.“
“Quaint, quirky, wonderful. A tiny bar with an unreal selection of single malt Scotch (and other things if Scotch isn’t your thing), a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly, knowledgeable service. From the color-coded spreadsheet menu with maps to the rare and hard-to-find bottles to the lovely owner being able immediately recommend options, this is a Scotch lover’s paradise. The free snack sized bag of Cool Ranch Doritos was a nice bonus. You must visit this place before it’s gone.“
“Great wings but just a touch undercooked for my liking. I had the cheese steak and it was amazing. What made the evening was the service. All three staff working were very friendly and attentive. Service with a smile as they say..check them out!“
“I got off the bus on my way to go to JimmyThe Boxer. A guys was standing on the patio and I asked was the food good here. He replied yes and if you like tacos, try the shrimp or steak tacos, they are really good. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos and Amaretto Sour. The total was less than $20. The drink was awesome, and the shrimp tacos.........whew. Did my spirit good. Food and service definitely will have me coming back! I forgot to take pic of the drink but included the tacos.?“
“Staff is wonderful, the atmosphere is excellent. There is nothing like running into old friends from years past and reliving the old days. You'll find a good time and fun times. Love you Deanna, Brandi, Mr. Ed and everyone else at this fine establishment ❤️“
“This place is a great neighborhood place. It's so laid back, and the owners really care about their customers. They have AMAZING burgers, and they started doing brunch on Sundays. Which is to die for. They always have such a great time while I'm here.“
“My wife found this place by accident . I wanted steamed crabs she wanted a soft crab sandwich. and I experienced the food for the 1St time. I gotta tell you it was Awesome!!!Some of the best seafood dishes around! A light and laid back atomosphere, great food, great service!!!“
“This place is so much fun; the food is fabulous, the service is excellent, and the bar menu is great, too. Soccer fans make it rowdy when premier league games are on, which is a blastKid-friendliness: They have a kids menu with food that’s actually good“
“Excellent little bar. Didn’t try the food but my friend liked the crab cake. 32oz natty Bo’s were the best value. Bartenders were super friendly and struck up conversation. Would come back next time I pass through Baltimore. Better than all the chain bars by the waterfront,“
“Super friendly owner and good beers on tap. I had my cards stolen while helping out less fortunate people and he let me pay via venmo which was nice for the circumstance.Friendly atmosphere, good friendly crowd, and fair prices overall. Try their growlers they are great and one of the better family owned spots in Fed“
“We were in from Cleveland of memorial day weekend and part of the week. This place became our favorite hangout, was only about a 5min walk from where we were staying.Great neighborhood dive bar, friendly bartenders & patrons & and overall great atmosphere. Wish we could've moved the place back to Cleveland with us. It will definitely be our hangout again the next time we're in town.“
“This is the quintessential definition of a local dive. The food is fantastic and the prices are incredibly fair. Lenny is a great guy and his bar is an asset to the community. This is the type of business that deserves support and your patronage.“
“My review is for the speakeasy only. My friend and I went here for a quick date night. The bartenders were amazing and the vibes were all you could ask for on a Friday night. It's very small and if you wait patiently you will be able to get a seat. We would definitely return again soon.“
“My wife and I went there on our anniversary purely by d*** luck. I was looking for a place that served Yuengling Lager, wish was a little harder than I expected tbh! But we stumbled upon this place with cold Lagers and air conditioning considering it was over 97 degrees that day! We came in and were treated like family right from the start. Not to mention it was but 1 get 1!!!“
“Such a great bar. The service was the standout feature. Geoffrey was a fantastic bartender, he is a true mixologist. He was able to make super unique drinks that catered to our taste and needs. Definitely a talented mixologist and will be back regularly because of Geoffrey!!“
“When in Fell’s Point, it’s always a good thought to take a moment to visit an area icon, ‘Lil Phil’ . . . the only Michigan State bar in the Baltimore area owned by a MSU graduate . . . indeed privileged that my Spartan Football wristband has been enshrined amongst his treasured memorabilia . . . #gogreen #gowhite #spartanswill #B1G #lilphil“
“This was a really nice place to hang out. They have pool tables and the DJ was descended. It wasn't too crowded. The drinks were reasonably priced. I will differently be returning. No pics of the drinks. I will update my review when I return.“
“The interior is a bit dated, but the menu is on the cheaper side for good food and good service. It starts with some nice dinner roles. They have some daily specials, but I went with a broiled crap cake which was tasty and decent-sized. The seasonal vegetable was Brussel sprouts and was kind of bland though. The South Breeze Shrimp and Scallops was a good dish and had a nice breadcrumb coating and buttery sauce. The sweet potato was only okay as well. Honestly with inflation, this place is really a great value even if it was mostly appealing to older people when we went. There was plenty of parking. I can see why it was popular in the early evening.“
“Came here on a beautiful Sunday. Windows and doors open and Fed Hill was Fed Hilling. The cheesesteak was really good and I can fully understand why it was recommended. The place was full of all kinds of people which I love about Baltimore. Bartender was really nice and efficient.“
“I was welcomed with friendly smiles it was party time in Shannon’s … I can’t remember having a better platter than there corn beef n cabbage it was sooo good I could have eaten 3 platters that’s how delicious it was.. I will definitely b coming back to try other items on there menu??“
“Went here last night for a 50th birthday party. The vibe was really cool. The upstairs is where the party was held. I only took one star away because it was not made for those bigger sized folks like myself. They had horderves egg rolls, chicken and shrimp which were pretty good. They also had a friendly young lady working upstairs to take your drink or food order and she would bring them back. The music upstairs was being played by a person attending the party. That was a nice vibe because everyone got to request songs so all kinds of music was played. If you're a smoker there was a nice outdoor area where you could smoke. As I was leaving I noticed that they had a DJ on the first floor who was also rocking the music. Shout out to the DJ who was also rocking. Didn't even realize that I knew the DJ until he spoke as I was leaving. Not sure of his DJ name but, I know him as Mr. Gaines. If you get a chance check this spot out. It was a nice mature crowd.“
“Was looking for a unassuming hole in the wall type bar and found it at Quigley's. We stopped in after the Orioles game (and concert) on 9/15/23. When we first walked in we were told that last call had been called, but then we were told we could come in - it was 1045pm. Jim, the bartender/owner, was a nice guy and the atmosphere was quiet/ calm which is the opposite of most other bars near the stadium. Love the wood bar, intricate wood work, cool ceiling fans, and collectable decor. Happy to have found this spot, look forward to going back!“
“I desperately want to give a bad review because I don’t want everyone to know about this spot. lol. However, I must give props where props are due, this place is a whole vibe. So unassuming from the outside but the atmosphere within is a while vibe. I was there for a Sofar event but arrived early for a bite to eat that didn’t disappoint. The women behind the bar were exceptionally kind and welcoming, with a whole Cheers vibe when some regulars arrived. I’m looking forward to going back soon!“
“Tried this place out for the first time today. The food was great, very polite and nice selection on the menu. They do have burgers if you have anyone that isn't adventurous with their lunch choices.. A bit pricey is my only negative. I'd definitely go again.“
“They have a solid bar menu. The bartender Shay, was exceptionally nice and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed right away. The food is decent. The French fries were some of the best I've had in a long time. It is a bar, but a great place to stop and get food and a drink.“
