The collards to me in my opinion are sweet🤢but if u want sum fast and not so bad soulfood this would be a good option however please don't expect perfect because this ain't the place for that💯 but Julia's place is amazing and cooks to order if u place order in advance and they do events and the food is to dieeee for especially the Mac and bourbon or honey jack salmon or wings❤️❤️❤️thank me later,I'll send u guys the number they in fells point and catered my bestfriend's wedding“

“I ordered the catfish, I added 2 fried wings and 1 turkey wings! The turkey wings fell of the bone when I picked it up with my fork. It was so flavorful. “When I stepped into Corkscrew on a Saturday night, I was struck by how much of a geniunely good time everyone was having. But when you consider that the DJ was doing his thing with banger after banger, it's little wonder.The food: I found it to be solid but some items were not as moist and flavorful as they could have been (the salmon), didn't have the kick they could have (the jerk egg rolls), and others saltier than they should have been (the collard greens), I really enjoyed their mac and cheese--it's perfect crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside--the way it's supposed to be. I would order that alone and be happy.The drinks: the bartenders were on point. We had a variety of drinks both on their menu and classics. They hit every time. They even make a great amaretto sour. The Corkscrew sour was a surprising and welcome twist on the sours we are familiar with. And I'm not embarrassed to say that I ordered an amaretto sour and enjoyed it. Like really enjoyed it. The bartenders are beyond belief.The music: we were initially disappointed that there wasn't live music this time but the DJ quickly made us forget all about it. He was playing hits from the 2000s, modern tracks, Afrobeats, Baltimore classics, and even some 70s all timers here and there. It was incredible.Vibe: the seats are so plush and comfortable that you don't want to leave. The interior design says sexy urban chic. You feel so damn elegant just being here.Service: the young man who served us was pleasant and noticeably polite. However, after we ordered from the menu, we were perplexed to see waiters walking by with plates of fried fish, steak, and salmon--all not listed on the menu.We didn't see him for some time but when we flagged him down, it turns out he that he forgot to tell us about the specials. Then he asked if we wanted him to tell us about the specials. It was as annoying as it was hilarious. I couldn't be mad at him at all.Overall: this place is awesome. We have to keep spots like this in Baltimore open at all costs. Please go support them and you'll have a great time doing it. 9/10“

“I’m lost for words with my food. The meat fell off the bone. The Mac and cheese is just 🤤🤤. I feel like I’m down south or like I’m in a southern movie eating Sunday dinner after church. I did a little dancer dance when I started eating. I highly high recommend this place for some good soul food. “Been a vegetarian since the mid seventies and we use to have to travel to Philly, New York and DC to find a high level of Vegan cuisine. Kai has brought an exceptionally superior Vegan cuisine to our area and even with the Baltimore metro area’s rise in Vegan restaurants Dodah’s Kitchen is clearly one of the best, and absolutely should be the restaurant on everyone’s “bucket” list. Meet Kai, talk with her and one will soon realize that Dodah’s is a literal extension, an aspect of her being. She is meticulous and one of the best definitions: (taking, showing, or involving great care and effort) Synonyms for meticulous: careful, conscientious, fussy, loving, painstaking, scrupulous, and to me, this reminds me of Mama in the kitchen !! and with that, we don’t even have to talk about the food.“

“I've got high hopes that this place finds a permanent home at R House. The MoBoy sandwich was fresh with bright veggies, crispy catfish, juicy fried shrimp, and a tangy remoulade. The banana pudding could've used some fresh banana, but was exactly what I wanted it to be otherwise. Looking forward to some red velvet cornbread that I saw being prepped or some pillowy beignets suffocated in powers sugar. The whole staff was super friendly and really sold me on the place. You should go...now.“
