“My father loves this place. He says they really know how to cook their collard greens. The potato salad is amazing. Whenever I go to pick up his food, the people in line always ask for extra gravy; they say it's out of this world! The iced tea is perfect everytime.“

The ambience alone is exquisite and posh with a style that effortlessly displays luxury. The food at this gem ? gives me a vibe that this restaurant merged the beautiful diversity of African food with a fusion of French cuisine and American ?? Soul Food, marinating together to create an EPIC taste exciting all your taste buds. I went there for the first time in April 2023 for the X-Maleya concert and was blown away by the atmosphere, customer service and food. The drinks were excellent, portion sizes were great and appropriate for their prices and I tried escargot ? for the first time and it was finger-licking good. The salmon, spinach and fried plantains were EXCELLENT. I even met the owner, Jimmy, who was a pleasure to speak with. If you like class, luxury and top notch EVERYTHING, then this is a great spot to dine in by yourself, to bring friends/family to when they come to visit or simply come to make friends/connections.“
“We had so much fun at this NEW HOT SPOT on Thursday nights! They have the BEST DJs from 6pm - Midnight and the vibe is grown & sexy!! Their bartenders are AWESOME and make some really good drinks!! They even have crabs available for purchase. It's a win-win to kick-off your weekend. I will definitely be back for their TURN-UP Thursday's!“
“Came here on a whim because I had a taste for some Caribbean food and lamb chops, and I was not disappointed. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the staff and the premises was nice and clean. I ordered the lamb chops, rice and peas, and greens and cabbage. I also ordered the deviled eggs with shrimp as an appetizer. Though the price was a bit high it was definitely worth it. They brought my appetizer out before the entree which I must say is important to me. The deviled eggs were amazing! I got 5 of them and good sized shrimp with jerk sauce. I could eat a dozen of these!! Next the lamb chops. They were okay, tons of flavors the only thing I can say is I wish they were cooked medium/medium rare but that may be on me for not asking. These were cooked closer to medium well, which wasn't bad but not my preference. But the rice and peas were great as was the greens and cabbage. The portion sizes are good (not too much and not too little) Overall, my meal was satisfying and I would return. The staff made sure I was good (also clean bathroom!) Check this place out!“
“I picked up food from here on a Sunday. Their website and Google shows an open time of 11:30 but when I called the restaurant to verify I was told they don't open until 12:00.Luckily I was able to place my order through their website at 11:40 for a 12:00 pick up. When I arrived at 12:05 the young lady told me that they had just opened up at noon and my order would be ready soon.Everything in my order was hot and fresh. I just recommend that the owner get the opening time corrected for their website and on Google maps.“
“The food was delicious, but unfortunately it was lacking in soul. I know soul food better. There was too much spice on the chitterlings and greens for my taste.My wife's Cajun Grilled Chicken was too dry. The service from the waiters can still be improved. However, the lady at reception was very friendly.Overall, still a recommendation.“

“This was my first time and NuVegan Cafe and it was a pleasant experience. Elijah was very sweet and professional and the food was amazing. I had the crab cakes, a chicken drummie, Mac and cheese and yams. There were a lot of photos of famous people that have supported the restaurant along the walls and that was really dope.“
