“I sat at the bar for lunch on a Monday. Great service by Kyle who knew quite a lot about tequila and helped me with some recommendations and tastings. Got the lunch special for $12.00 and could not have been happier with everything. Can't wait to go back!“
“I came here with one of my besties after the Mariah Carey concert this past December and we ordered off of the late night menu, and let me tell you it did not disappoint! I was recommended this restaurant off of reddit and I am so glad a listened because the smash burger here was one of the best burgers I think I have ever had. Our waiter was also such a pleasure and attentive. Also, such an immaculate vibe inside, especially at night!Parking: There is free street parking on Conkling St. and the crossing street but it can definitely be a pain at certain hours of the day. Definitely not bad though and in a fine part of the city I felt safe walking at night in.“
“The cocktails from here are unique and delicious. The future ball is my favorite. I have tried all of the short rib food dishes and they are all fantastic. Bonus points that they have a seasonal cocktail menu meaning you can get something different every time you go.“
“If I was made of money, I would go here every week ? Great atmosphere, friendly service, and tasty food (a bit overpriced tho). Would recommend for date nights, special occasions, or celebrations.Recommendations:vegetarian : pisto manchegonon-vegetarian: pulpo gallegodessert: torte chocolateRead further for a more detailed review!• Pisto Manchego (Spanish ratatouille) A tomato-based dish with primarily zucchini and squash. It was simple but really good as in I can keep eating more bowls of this stuff. Great with bread too! 10/10, would get it again.• Potato soup with Manchego cheese and bacon. It’s a simple creamy soup that will warm you up! 6/10 because 10 dollars for a potato soup is too much even if it’s tasty• Ensalada Remolacha. The fried goat cheese ball on the top is really yummy but it is very small. There was some taro? like round pieces in the salad that tasted interesting. A refreshing salad, but would have preferred if the goat cheese ball was bigger and less of those taro? pieces. 6/10• Pulpo Gallego. The portion size is a bit small but the taste is delicate and amazing. The grilled octopus pieces are very tender and flavorful. The small potatoes and olives with light oil and herbs paired well with the octopus. Lovely dish, 10/10, would get it again. I wish they offered a version with more octopus in it lol• Papas Bravas (fried potatoes) tasty but too simple of a dish to be sold for $10. It is just potato wedges with sriracha mayo sauce. 5/10 for the overcharged price. would not get it.• Albondigas (lamb meatballs) The meat was good but overall the dish was too salty. 5/10, would not get it again.• Mejillones (mussels - got the white wine garlic sauce) I agree with the previous review that the sauce is missing something, it needs more tanginess. It just tasted like watered down white wine tbh. The mussels themselves were fresh and tasty though so that made up for it. 8/10Special note: We went during Baltimore Restaurant Week, but you can find all of these dishes on the regular menu as well.“
“If you’re there when Armando is working, consider yourself so lucky!! He was absolutely phenomenal and made our night so much fun. On top of his electric personality, the food was incredible (the mushroom toast was life changing), and the whole aesthetic of The Bluebird is so wonderful that I cannot recommend it enough!! Definitely get the Zatoichi cocktail.“
“Amy and Will are incredible! My girlfriend and I came here for the first time tonight and was one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in a while! We came with 2 friends and everyone who worked there made us feel at home, the drinks and food were all exceptional! We can’t wait to come back more often!“
“Quite the international bar/tapas. The menu changes on occasion with welcomed food. The newest addition, ostrich tatar should be a wild success! Drinks come with haste and ease. The wild margarita varieties makes this bar a fun vibe to wind down after a long workday/week. Bartenders are welcoming and fast and will make sure you feel comfortable. Great bar to come to in Fed!“
“Second time coming ! Even better than the first. Started with a couple small plates, veg samosa, Lamb Vindaloo, salmon, Trini Doubles. ALL smashing; favorites were the Doubles and Salmon. Then an entree of Shrimp Kurma that was incredible all around, great shrimp, amazing curry, good portion and beautiful presentation. LASSI is also great always will recommendParking: On 36th street or in surrounding neighborhoods“
“Just a quick review. Absolutely LOVE the food. The owners are both incredibly nice people and the food that the owner creates is beyond good. She is so kind and accommodating as to add or remove from the dish any ingredients you don’t like or add any you prefer so long as she has them available. I’ve come to Racer’s for well over 2 decades and always absolutely love the place from the old days of peanut shells on the floors and the old pool table in the back to its current state and the addition of food in my mind is tremendous. Gone is having to stop at Taco Bell or Dominick’s to get food to take there. Now I can get great food to go with the best happy hour and beer selection in Baltimore. Here’s hoping that Red’s remains for a long time.“
