Now onto the burgers… and yes, they deserve their own paragraph. I ordered the A Jazzed Up Swiss Burger — and let me tell you, this was no run-of-the-mill meat puck. We're talking Gruyère so rich it probably pays taxes in Switzerland, Black Forest ham that must’ve taken a first-class flight in, baby bella mushrooms sautéed to perfection, and a tangy smear of whole-grain mustard tying it all together. Every bite said, “Sir, this is not fast food — this is fine dining between buns.” My wife had the Paris Burger — imagine garlic-kissed beef topped with brie so creamy it probably auditioned for a romance film, with balsamic onions adding the drama. My 7yo asked for trainer chopsticks and while they didn’t have them, the servers fashioned some from a pair of adult chopsticks and a napkin! The smile on my 7yo’s face was just amazing! I don't care for lamb but tried my business partner's meal and LOVED IT! Mona has definitely won me over hands down! The Shwarma was like nothing I have ever had before. And as a BIG pickle lover, this was a hit! The Rice Pudding was very delicate and a perfect ending to a perfect meal. We ordered the Knafe Bel Jibne as we were very curious. It is a warm sweet treat with a very slight hint of savory which comes from the pistachios - YUM! Mona cooks everything herself to order with LOVE! The panni puri filling was lovely, but for the price I very much wish they offered more filling, specifically more potato and chick pea. The filling was dominated by onion and we had to strategically ration the filling across the puffs.
The panner is so soft and silky, I highly recommend no matter what dish you get it in. The panner makhani was creamy with a slight sweetness, a great option for those who like mild dishes.

I appreciated the customer service and kindness from the owners. After leaving the ER, I bought tons of food so I wouldn't have to worry about cooking. One of the owners, Tin, took the time to ask about my visit to the ER and asked if I was alright. It was my first time meeting her, and she was a gracious person who made me smile and hugged me better.

Cafe Opera has been in business over 20 years, and I think it's not just a testament to the quality of the food, but also in the way they treat their customers.
