I took my husband there for a "surprise" belated birthday get-together with family...I wasn't sure if 5 people or 15 people were going to show up! Our family loved the atmosphere and the food was soooooooo good. It was also so family friendly, as we had 6 kids under age 6! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again, but I'm sending all my NOVA family your way!!“
“A solid bar to stop in to get a few drinks and some bar food. The day we dropped in, we were hoping for more intricate cocktails, but we couldn't complain overall. The Old Fashioned was a solid middle of the road OF -- didn't absolutely love it, but also didn't absolutely hate it.“
“On a grey, drizzley day as I melancholally trudge around the house, I mentioned that I missed British pubs and my husband surprised me and the kids with a "drive". To my HAPPIEST of surprises, he found this beaut; They have cask pull ales and the classic draughts. It made my whimsical heart so happy! Since we had JUST had lunch at home, we celebrated with a sticky toffee pudding AND a bread pudding (and of course a pint each)!Parking: It's just a tight, tricky parking area with not a WHOLE lot of spacesKid-friendliness: They are allowed.“
“My friends who live nearby took me here for brunch on a Saturday morning and it was so good! Their hash with chorizo was so delicious. My friend's buffalo chicken sandwich looked great, I'll have to try it next time. Even the kid pancakes looked tasty.They had a huge coffee menu and the Mexican coffee and regular cappuccino were so good.I'd love to come back for a beer when it's warmer and not raining! It looked like a fun place to hang out.“
“Very affordable drinks, with variety. Better options for beer, not so much on wine. It's truly a pub above a whole foods, with an arcade and TVs where you can watch Thursday night football. Great atmosphere, that doesn't get too loud that you can't chat after work.“
“Great service from the solo bartender on Sunday night. He was awesome and kept the drinks flowing. Great hole in the wall bar with decent bar food, too. I had the chicken tenders and fries to help soak up some alcohol. Fries were great, and the tenders were great and hit the spot perfectly. Restrooms were relatively clean for a dive bar! “So, I did something super risky. I ordered chicken wings at a burger place; and one I had never been to before. I don’t know if Foster’s is known for their “charburgers,” but I am so glad I took the risk. Their chicken wings are some of the best I’ve had in a long time! Bone-in traditional buffalo. Try it! French fries are amazing too!“
“We came here for the St. Paddy's Day party and while it was packed the service was not lacking one bit. There was always someone available to take orders. Our drinks and food were great! Highly recommend the boxty cakes. They were delicious!“
