5 Best Seafood Restaurants near Quantico

“Have had a lot of people have asked my opinion between Th Red Roost and The old mill. My opinion is the roost has a much better atmosphere . More like family dining. I have been there every weekend (except for 2) this year and 44 times last year. I have never had a bad meal or service from this establishment . I know most off the staff by first name and they know me as well. The treat every customer like they are the only customer they have to wait on even when they are slammed packed full. My kudos to management and all the staff. You all make a great team and a wonderful experience with every visit. And once you’re done eating the best tasting crabs on the shore you can take the Rooster Cruiser up the hill to Bull Lips tiki bar. . The staff that man’s the food truck and the bar there are just as awesome as the staff at The roost. So take a Saturday or a Sunday and visit these two awesome places. You will not be disappointed . “We were visiting from Chicago and looking for some seafood/cocktails in the area. This place was fantastic! Really enjoyed the cocktails, and our server/bartender made up an amazing reposado tequila drink for my husband who was impressed. We tried the oyster sampler, calamari, and fish tacos which did not disappoint. I’m glad we stumbled upon this place!“

“We have ordered the Southern Cheesesteak and the regular cheesesteak. They were the most delicious cheesesteaks we ever had! Well done Ledos! We will be back!! We also ate in Thursday night and Rinia(?) waited on us. She was fantastic made our time there very enjoyable!!“

“Outstanding prime rib specials Tuesday and Wednesday. All three of us ordered prime rib, each cooked differently. Each entree was seasoned deliciously and cooked to order. Never order the basic fries, they appear to be frozen shoe string cut fries better suited for the kids part of the menu only. Go for the up-charge with boardwalk fries. Nice dinner bread provided. Parking was a little confusing as the city lot appears to be pay to park, although the pay station is out of service. We parked in the free gravel covered employee lot to the left of the front entrance. Definitely will go again, probably for the excellent prime rib.“
