“I never leave without my growler full of beer! They all taste great! Sparkles in the "bog juice" are a favorite too! Food never disappoints, specials are creative and always delicious! Atmosphere is always inviting from accessibility to open mic night. Owners and all staff are always willing to share some time for an even better experience!Kid-friendliness: Crayons and games to keep kids busy. Open lines of sight so parents can keep a watchful eye too.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible, with 2 grandchildren in wheelchairs we never had any issues!“
“The customer service Miss. Phyllis has is amazing! Very professional and very attentive. Just went the other day and got the Hot Meatloaf and was very impressed, seasoned and cooked to perfection. Why I love little diners. Food Is always good and fills you up. I will definitely be back to get that meatloaf again! Definitely should be the winner again for the best diner in Cecil Whig! Thank you Spready Oak! Keep supporting local businesses!“
“Very nice restaurant. Was given a recommendation from a guy at D'Ambrosio Chevrolet. Weren't looking for anything fancy, just good food, and were not disappointed. Very quaint restaurant, with a lot of memorabilia from the area. Food was good, service was good, and would definitely go back.“
“This may be the weirdest review ever but here goes. I have never actually eaten here but was stationed at Aberdeen PG in 1970-71. Really enjoyed Maryland for the most part and growing up in Mississippi I was exposed to several dishes that we had never heard of at the time in the Deep South. Submarine sandwiches believe it or not were one. We had Po Boys which were similar but not exactly the same thing. Also grew to love fried clams which no one here at the time ever ate. Of course we had oysters from the gulf and plenty of blue crab but the steamed crab Maryland style was superior to our boiled crab. By the way Marylanders, many of the crabs y'all are now eating come from the gulf not Chesapeake Bay. A friend of mine who is a crabber on Lake Pontchartrain sells all of his #1 crabs for export to Maryland as he makes twice as much than selling the locally . Anyway, I do wish I could make another trip to the area and see what is new the last 50 years. From the looks on yelp, a lot. I am a foodie though and have learned to read between the lines on Yelp reviews and based on that, I would definitely give this place a try. It looks great and I feel sure it is. Bon appetite!“
“Unfortunately, my party of seven arrived too late in the evening for the crabs--the room was completely booked. Everyone seemed to enjoy their drinks and meals. My fried seafood platter was average, but I did enjoy the cornmeal hushpuppies. Wellwood is a little pricey, but worth the atmosphere and charm.“
“Great family atmosphere. The scallops special was awesome and the burger was a classic. Staff friendly and provided excellent service. November 2022 new updated menu. More seafood choices. New ownership management now implementing changes.February 20 to 24 or 26, can't remember when ends is "grilled cheese werk" a variety of gourmet type recipes available. A popular week with locals and a treat for new customers. Try the "California", a mixture of delicious tastes like horseradish, tomato, avocado, cheese (duh!) With a side of best fries around..Big turnout. If a wait it is worth the short wait. With grilled cheese a quick cooking time.“
“We once again visited the GRT as it is one of the best music venues around (it’s all about the music!) I had the mushroom soup and it was one of the best mushroom soups I have had. Hints of white wine, Parmesan cheese and lots of mushrooms! Thanks all Chuck and Karen“
“We stopped there for dinner and didn't want a big meal. They have a smaller portion menu with their regular dinner items. I tried their meatloaf for the first time and was amazed. It tasted so good, and the portion was still large. Loved everything about our experience.Wheelchair accessibility: Very open floorplan“
“I had a craving for a BLT and stopped by to grab one to go. This sandwich has the good fats (avocado) and bad fats (crispy bacon and not bad at all), crisp lettuce and fresh tomatoes. The bread was perfectly toasted and I got it with fries (also delicious).“
“We had the fish and chips and the oyster sandwich. The fish and chops were done to perfection and the oyster sandwich had so many fried oysters you could not close the roll. You had to eat many of the oysters before you could even think about eating them as a sandwich. Breading on the oysters was light and flakey and were crunchy with a great tasting oyster inside. This is our place for oysters!!!Parking: Some parking on front and side more out back.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap out front off street and a ramp to the front or side door.“
“The Mutt is an amazing hangout with great food. You really can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches or entrees. Service is very friendly. They have basic beers on tap. Would like to see some more variety, but that is minor. They generally have Golden Monkey and that's good enough for me.“
“My favorite dish is the Cesar salad with blackened tuna. It's incredibly delicious every time. I also love their wings. Great spot for takeout or eating in, with cute outdoor seating by the creek when weather is good. Great local spot that is always delicious.“
“Good home style breakfast at reasonable prices. Never had corn beef hash decided to try it an was not disappointed. We will be back for sure with it being 5 minutes down the road cant beat it.Also note it's cash only there is a free ATM down the road at royal farms store.“
“Pancakes as big as the plate. Creamed Chipped beef. Home fries were good. Old diner vibe. Kinda grubby but you can tell that from the outside. Food is good, and cheap, but you really go to a place like this for the experience.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a wooden ramp.“
“Took myself and two kids at breakfast outside the nearby resort. I'm a big breakfast fan. The kids both ordered the bacon avocado burger. Everyone ate well and enjoyed. Remembered to get the Aarp discount.Got the new to me Dennys app while there. Would have liked to get credit for meal, but didn't seem to get it.“
“Good food, but good ice cream, nice area and you can check out the Christmas lights across the street during Christmas. There is a bed and breakfast on Buttercup drive that is wonderful to stay in if you need somewhere to stay and it's pet allowed. Also Kennett Square is nearby and so is Longwood garden“
“I ordered over the phone and the person I spoke to was very nice and helpful. She was very pleasant to talk to. I ordered the cheesesteak and Bigfoot Italian hoagie. Both were the best I've had in a long time. I was pleasantly surprised the delivery was fast despite it being a very busy Friday night. They said about 45 minutes but it was around 25 at the most. the delivery driver was very nice and pleasant to speak to. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone. I will be ordering from Bigfoots Express again.“
“Always great service and the food is good, the waitresses are very friendly and very nice. Denny's is always clean and if for some reason you have a problem they will fix it. But I've never had a problem with anything at Denny's. I love eating there.“
“Ordered Takeout for my mother, wife and myself. The food was amazing! Spot on! The pork chop and blackened chicken alfredo was the BEST we ever had. We are looking forward to dining in @ the establishment next week. Highly recommended! Bravo!!Kid-friendliness: Fast and friendly“
“There were 4 of us on a Friday and service was quick and friendly. Outside is deceiving and you may be tempted to drive by but inside is spacious and clean. Everyone has great meals. Fish and chips were great and fish was fresh - tasted like it would in the UK. Chicken Chesapeake was awesome and a very large serving of crab and great flavor. Would definitely go again. Very reasonable prices as well and while regular menu is small, lots of specials from steak to ribs.“
