“This place has been here a while but I'm so glad we got there when we did! Each time I've ordered something different and we have not been disappointed! The best Ruben I've had since Sharffer's, and I've tried them everywhere! The drinks are good, service is with smile and there is also outside seating!!! I highly recommend it, you'll come back I'm sure. It's a bit pricey, but what isn't these days?? Worth every dime. Bon a petite!“

“my friend and I had lunch here with our little ones today (2 and 5) i picked here because i knew they would be child friendly.because lets be honest you never know what's going to happen taking toddlers to a restaurant. they were well behaved but i want to give a huge shout-out to our amazing server Zuri. Hands down the best waitress ive ever had in a restaurant. She was polite, attentive, and had great positive vibes from her all around. “Took grandkids to 896 Pie today after a swim in the pool. Great service and amazing pizza. Brent is the owner and he was so friendly and engaged with his customers. All the grandkids and two adults enjoyed the perfectly cooked pizza. Thanks for a great visit“

“Late Sept: they still have the two can done for $25 deal. Also happy hour everyday after 9pm on drinks and appetizers. It is clean. Food made fresh. Staff was attentive and friendly. Much better than any fast food place. Worth coming if you go out.
In June :Typical Applebee's. Great deal for the two for $25 deal but individual meals can be up to $25 alone if you are not careful. Ordered pick up online and they took longer than the time frame to make my food. Had to wait 10 minutes longer than online time I was told. Food was hot and made fresh. No complaints“

“Enjoyed my birthday tonight with family and friends. Grew up in Newark and have never eaten here. It did not disappoint. Love the history and the ambience. Our waitress, Piper was phenomenal, .... friendly, accommodating, and very attentive. The food was perfectly portioned and all tasted great. The soft pretzel was wonderful. The Brussel Sprouts was excellent and the short ribs were tender and flavorful. The apple cider mule was a perfect drink to top it all off.“

Thank you. Now let's get to the food. I had the Chicken Picatta. I had to take the picture because at the first bite I new it was about to be destroyed. I left nothing on the plate. “Some friends and I went to Catch45 for lunch yesterday and we had great food and conversation. We were there for nearly four hours. The ambiance was nice and the food plentiful and delicious. We had beef patties, fried plantains two ways, jollof rice, red beans, attike and the yummy sauces. The staff was amazing in sharing their culture through exploring the menu with us, making recommendations, and ensuring we enjoyed everything. We were offered complimentary dishes to try and lots of attention was given. We can’t wait to go back again. Thanks for a great dining experience.“

“We just enjoyed a wonderful meal this evening. We started with the buratta app. Fresh buratta with tomato jam and chopped kalamata olives, the perfect blend of sweet and salty. I then had the shrimp and grits for my entree and it was also good. The "holy" trinity sauce was quite flavorful. I'm so glad I ventured from my normal order, which had also always been yummy.“

“I love the Applebees OMG oozy cheese meals branding going on right now. I came for the OMG cheeseburger melt but I saw they bought the OMG cheeseburger back so I got that instead (it’s what I wanted initially). I love this soaked in cheese food. lol. Our waitress was excellent. I wish I remembered her name. She was great. When my mom accidentally knocked over her shot of alcohol- the waitress replaced it. When my OMG cheese didn’t come out sizzling, she took it back and got it right. I really appreciated that. The OMG cheese is also really good because you can mix it in with the fries! Shout out to Japan - cause I think that is where this omg oozy cheese burger originates!“
