“Right off the Lehigh campus this place has become an institution and I've visited many times over the years when, as an alumnus, I visit my Alma mater The food is great and the service speedy. Special orders for "vegan-izing" a dish... no problem. Large open dining room adds to conviviality (and noise level).“
“Hidden gem. Best creamy homemade icecream and prices reasonable with large servings (one scoop plenty for most adults..even children's scoop!) and THE BEST pumpkin icecream! Clean environment and sweetest friendly calves outside, (quickly growing!) and ample outdoor seating. Fun fall corn maze also affordable!“
“Good ice cream and shakes, some of the food is good, i don't liked the sandwiches/ cheese steak specific.Great customer service and overall a good place to shop for food. Parking is limited but i like walking so that's not a problem for me but maybe for elderly and handicap might be an issue. Great location for tourist, right by the pier!“
“Great family atmosphere. The scallops special was awesome and the burger was a classic. Staff friendly and provided excellent service. November 2022 new updated menu. More seafood choices. New ownership management now implementing changes.February 20 to 24 or 26, can't remember when ends is "grilled cheese werk" a variety of gourmet type recipes available. A popular week with locals and a treat for new customers. Try the "California", a mixture of delicious tastes like horseradish, tomato, avocado, cheese (duh!) With a side of best fries around..Big turnout. If a wait it is worth the short wait. With grilled cheese a quick cooking time.“
“I was so hungry for birthday cake Italian ice from Rita's and every time I went this summer, it was never the special flavor. Because Rita's is often an impulse situation, I never thought of looking it up on Facebook. I called and the very next day, she had birthday cake for me! Thank you so much!“
“Amazing owners! My family was stopping by during the slow season and we realized they were closed. They ran out and offered to serve us anyway. All of the ice cream is delicious and made fresh in house, we loved the blueberry and Nutella flavors. This is our new favorite spot.“
“Rita's was a real sanity saver after running a few essential errands around town the other day. Being window only, they are still open, and they're even running a 3 quarts for $12 special during the quarantine. Friendly service, and of course I got my usual, the mango water ice. Delicious! One of the things I'll definitely miss when I'm not staying here with my parents through this anymore...“
“Good food, but good ice cream, nice area and you can check out the Christmas lights across the street during Christmas. There is a bed and breakfast on Buttercup drive that is wonderful to stay in if you need somewhere to stay and it's pet allowed. Also Kennett Square is nearby and so is Longwood garden“
“We were in the area with no idea of where to get food. We needed something quick. We expected mediocre snack food and was completely surprised!! We got a shrimp basket and rockfish meal with fries. Everything was awesome. Cooked to perfection. Light and crispier. The smoothies were also wonderful. We will make it a point to return when we are back in the area. Oh yeah, workers were very friendly. The food was served quickly.“
“J’s custard is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. I recently went to a family party where somebody brought Rita’s water ice. That person is now dead to me. I left the party immediately and drove my Corolla like it was Han Solo’s Millennium Falcon directly to J’s for my large root beer gelati with extra sprinkles. The kind woman in the window whipped that ish up so immaculate, she oughtta be on effin cake boss. Or ice cream boss. idfk. This place slays. I used to be in shape, but after we get the kids to bed, I tell my wife I’m going to run a work errand and I slaughter a quart of their water ice in the parking lot behind the dumpster. The only negative I have to say about this place is that they won’t let me stand with my mouth open underneath the custard machine while my girl D-Pres hammers the throttle. Something about “health code standards” or something idk, I’m a little hard of hearing due to the J’s-inflicted diabetes. #worthit“
“The coffee is absolutely amazing best coffee I’ve ever tasted! The only downfall is there’s no gluten free options for food so if you have an allergy it’s not celiac friendly. Also there’s lots of tables in a small place so it’s very crowded with nowhere to really move about when busy. But if you love coffee this is for sure the place to visit“
