“Our company fishing trip was today, and on our way home we were looking for a place to stop for ice cream. We called ahead to be courteous, and they were happy to take our tour bus. We showed up with a DOUBLE DECKER tour bus and Ashlynn and Shannon were amazing. They had us in and out of there as quick as ever for a group our size! They handled things so professionally and politely, and were eager to please all of us. The ice cream and all of the other treats were delicious! There was not one complaint among any of us! We all got a group photo with Cowoline the Cow and everyone was raving about the place on the way home. Thank you, ladies, for making our evening!! It was such a sweet place to stop and we would highly recommend it!! - On behalf of Scenic Ridge Construction... THANK YOU!!“

“We stopped here for some ice cream one evening. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were reasonable ($3 single scoop). Ice cream was excellent...creamy and refreshing. We had the black raspberry, cotton candy and the butter pecan. Serving sizes were good for price paid. Everyone enjoyed their selection. Overall, another good experience with Somerset Farm. This is just a small take-out window with some picnic tables alongside a cow pasture and a gravel parking lot. It is nothing fancy, but it is a nice family friendly atmosphere and a great place to grab some of Woodside Farm's delicious ice cream without having to make the drive all the way over to Hockessin. Prices are reasonable ($3, $4.25, $5.25 for 1-2-3 scoops; add a dollar if you want a waffle cone). CASH ONLY. Highly recommended.“
“The best ice cream! Friendly staff and local owners who always have a smile. Love getting testers of all the different flavors and trying the limited edition ice creams. Dulce de Leche dazzler is the best! Black and white cookie is my favorite new flavor.“

“Hot Turkey, Hot Italian and Sonny’s Cheesesteak are Fire!!! Food quality is excellent and also a great value. You can get a delicious sub made with fresh ingredients for less than the price of a fast food meal. The staff is friendly. The owners are present and always express gratitude for patronizing their business. This is a wonderful family run establishment. Sonny’s is a must try if you’re a local!“
“The staff there is absolutely incredible. We visited after eating at the restaurant and we’ve never had an experience like we did at an ice cream shop before. Kind, personable, and caring is how I would describe the two young ladies we encountered. They even helped us win some rubber ducks in the claw machines! Not to mention the ice cream was AMAZING. Visiting Woodys Ice Cream Alley is going to be a family tradition now every time we are in the area!“

“Went for a sweet treat. The establishment is well clean and organized. Everything is self served with plenty of options to choose from ice cream to toppings. The only thing that I did not care for was that everything was charged by weight. For 3 cups of ice cream was around $30. Was still a nice treat and would return.“

“This is a family owned business that’s been around for years and years! The lady is the sweetest and she honestly takes pride in every sundae, swirl cone or sherbet that goes out that window! My kids grew up coming there as a weekend treat. I still frequent it every chance I can during season. I wish they’d stay open all year round. I’d be the crazy one ? in snow-boots, a sock hat and a puff coat standing outside that window still ordering a “Reese’s Pieces Sundae” no matter how many inches of snow was on the ground.! lol?God Bless em’ they sure do make the best ice cream around! ????

“Cash only!!! Be prepared with cash. No restrooms other than a gross porta potty . Hard to leave the parking lot with all the traffic and the entrance creeps up on ya so try to slow down or else you'll miss it. Very busy road. Hubby liked the cherry ice cream. I got a smoothie that I think was actually a milkshake but it was fine.“
