“I had a large catering order for a construction meeting in DC. They asked for something new. Since I love Julep's, I brought some for my customers. Emily was great from start to finish and helped me make a good menu. I asked for the order to be ready by 1030am and they made it happen. Everyone loved the food. You don't win friends with salad. “This was my second time dining at The Lodge and the food was fantastic both times. I love the comfy booths and the quiet atmosphere there. Everyone from the host to the waiters are very friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that the waiters are very pushy about trying to get you to order extra things that you do not want. First I was offered 2 different kinds of water in fancy bottles, regular and sparking, which I'm sure were more expensive than the tap water that I requested. It was presented not as an option, but "which one do you choose?" I didn't fall for that one. Then we were told about a special drink that was available - no thanks. Next was a special crab appetizer that was described to us and then we were asked if we were "sold on it?" We were not interested. Then a wine was recommended before we even ordered. My friend already knew what kind of wine she planned to order and I don't drink! And then when we finished our meal our waiter told us that we could get some ribs to take home with us at a special price! He just would not give up trying to sell us extra food to try and make the bill higher! We didn't appreciate it and it put a damper on our dining experience! The food there is excellent, however it is very pricey. We love the ambiance there and the food, however the pushy wait staff has made us think twice about returning!“

“Harvest Thyme Tavern is one of our most favorite restaurants in the DMV, yet a neighborhood gem. We probably eat here more than most go out to dinner in a month. I admire the family ownership and commitment to running the establishment on a daily basis. The food is sourced from our local farmers and that’s just another reason we love this place. The quality ingredients make all the difference in the food and the cocktails. Burgers, fish, salads, pasta and pizza no one else comes close to. Everything here tastes amazing. Pam has desserts to die for, always a select menu and then she has daily offerings that will have you questioning which one to go for. Have no doubt you will love everything! Hands down the best Spicy Cadillac Margarita and that alone speaks volumes. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The staff is always accommodating, personal, professional and friendly. I promise you will not be disappointed!!!“

“I would highly recommend going and when you go ask for a woman named Cory to be your server. She greeted my family and I right at the entrance and made us feel right at home. I’d say she was close to a kind reader as it comes because she basically knew what we needed before we ever said anything. Our drinks stayed filled and any questions about the menu we had she had the answers. The food came out quickly and was delicious. We will be showing our faces again and will be making Cory our regular server.“

Very impressive ?she said she's a school teacher and is used to memorizing so many names and faces. I forgot her name but she's a very nice person! We came in for our wedding anniversary last evening. Caroline I believe het name was took cgood care of us. She was very sweet, professional and attentive! The food was excellent. My husband had the salmon BLT which he enjoyed and I had the Bistro Steak Frites and it was perfect and delicious just as it was the last time! The gentleman who was assisting the staff ( either owner or mgr) very kindly came and replaced my dish with the correct one. Someone else had ordered it but to a different doneness. The entire staff was warm and friendly, from the servers to the mgr, owner, and hostesses. We will definitely be back and want to bring our friends whom we told about your restaurant. “I was there yesterday with my bestie after seeing her latest exhibit; just two older women who create. Lo a behold we found Nirvana. Perfect salads (amazingly fresh)., the best crab dip ever, with both baguette and sliced cukes to accommodate by wheat allergic friend. all followed by a terrific cappuccino and exquisite cheese cake. Such a cosy cafe atmosphere - the kind of place where you feel instantly at home yet with a dash of euro sophistication. Our server was totally, utterly lovely; friendly not overbearing, and super professional. In short - my new happy place!“

The food is always amazing, even our family (who can be tough critics) were very happy with their food choices. The menu rotates a little seasonally and it’s always fun to try the new items and revisit the permanent items. The cocktails are super creative and you can’t really go wrong with any of them! Some of our current favorites: Harvest Mule, Agave Please for drinks and for food… house fries, tuna poke, ribs, brussel sprouts, and the oysters! Crab Mac and cheese is a must if it’s on the menu! Oh and don’t forget to leave room for dessert, we love all the choices but banana bread pudding is our favorite! 11/10 love coming here.“

“Everything about this place was great. Erin, the bartender was very personable and knowledgable about all aspects of the F and B service. Her attention to detail was inspiring. Her connection with her guests made each of us feel as though we were the only ones there. Rashaan , the Chef made some incredible good. It was clean and satisfying. When I asked Erin to give our compliments to the Chef he came out and personally thanked us. This was in the top 2 of hotel restaurants. Those two made it easy to love.“

“This was our third time at Gary’s, and once again it was spectacular. Although your table has a primary server, the whole team works in concert to keep the customers happy. We had several special requests, and every time the response was “let me see if we can do that.” It just so happened that they could accommodate all of our requests. The food was fantastic as always. But the real magic happened at the end of the meal – just as we were asking for the check, there was a medical incident with one of our kids. All available staff immediately came to our rescue with resources and reassurances and enough bodies to create a privacy wall while we stabilized the situation, and I was able to get our kiddo bundled up and in the car in a hurry while my spouse payed the check.“

We decided on the 2/$25 menu and was impressed with the artichoke and spinach appetizer as well as the Big Bangin' Burger! This was not a frozen hockey puck burger. The flavor was good, cooked to perfection and the fries were nice and fresh. Definitely looking forward to going back.“
