“You never know when a hotel restaurant is going to be an undiscovered gem, so I thought I would give this one a try (plus I've been craving a burger and beer all day). I wouldn't call this place a diamond in the rough, but it's a solid meal that is not your typical hotel overpriced. Plus if you're looking for a place to yourself, this is it. The restaurant was pretty dead, which was a real shame because it's got a great set up with two huge TVs and a bar. Loved that the waitress brought me bar snacks with my beer. No local beers on tap, but you have Bud, Stella, Stardust and 312, so not a bad selection. I ordered the burger medium and it was cooked perfectly. Caesar salad is also very good - would recommend it. Loved the Asiago flakes. Service was not slow for me at all, but I was customer 3 of 3. Also thought food was decently priced. I'd come back again for good food with friends when we're looking for a secluded spot.“

“Yesterday, I decided to treat myself to a solo lunch date at Moreland's Tavern. With the sun shining, I wanted to soak up the weather in a relaxed atmosphere, away from the usual hustle and bustle, and Moreland's Tavern delivered just that! Having been here numerous times before, I've always left satisfied. This time was no different. For lunch, I opted for the blackened catfish sandwich with a side salad, accompanied by a selection of drinks: a spicy pineapple margarita, a strawberry shrub, and a rose. (Its just one of those days, that a girl goes through when I'm an....nevermind iykyk lol) The catfish sandwich was delicious, though just a tad soggy due to the sauce. However, the side salad was fantastic - a perfect start with its darker leafy mixed greens, packed with nutrition. Now, onto the drinks. While the spicy margarita wasn't the best I've ever had, it still hit the spot, albeit not as spicy as I'd hoped. The Strawberry Shrub was a fruity delight, not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Service was impeccable, with a friendly and attentive waitress ensuring my meal arrived promptly. The atmosphere was relaxed, with families mingling around, creating a laid-back vibe. I'll definitely be returning for another visit. Moreland's Tavern strikes the perfect balance between family-friendly and relaxed ambiance.“

“This is a great spot with a warm vibe. It looks small in entering, but there's additional seating in the back. The service is excellent too. The food came out in less than 20 minutes, and the portions are a good size. Just enough to fill you, but not so much you have leftovers. I had the salmon burger and fries, both were cooked perfectly - the fries were crisp and the salmon was juicy. Both were too lightly seasoned for me but still enjoyable. I appreciated that neither were salty. I'll be back to try other options.Parking: Street parking may require you to walk a few blocks.“

“Love this restaurant in Silver Spring. 'Consistently great food and good service. Whenever I'm in town, I make time to eat dinner there. You need a reservation for Saturday and Friday evenings. Parking is easy since it is near one of the Wayne Garage entrances. My family likes everything on the menu, but I especially like the tenderloin steak with spinach. I rarely get beef, but it is consistently a moist and tender cut. Cocktails are great, and the food is gourmet quality.Parking: Park in Wayne Street parking garage. There is an exit to Ellsworth, which takes you to an exit that is very near the restaurant.“

“Super cool spot!!!!!!!! I’ve been coming here since Wilfredo first opened his doors. I’ve come to think of it as a home away from home. The food is exactly what the doctor ordered after a long days work. Karaoke Tuesdays has completely brought me out of my shell. It’s definitely become a hidden gem for the Brightwood community. I highly recommend stopping in and checking it out.“
