“The Maine lobster event is going on now and it's delicious. (Lobster three ways are the choices - whole Maine lobster; a lobster pasta dish and or a lobster roll. Each of these comes with sides.) Also particularly good the last three weeks have been the oysters - very fresh, great taste and texture. The service was attentive, professional, very pleasant, and the meal was well-paced between courses, thanks to Taylor. The dining room was quiet and comfortable. “Came in on a hot day (July 2025). Loved the noodles, ease of ordering on the monitors and good seating to work thru lunch break. The customer service was 12 out of 10. All the workers were friendly and attentive. They greeted everyone, cleaned up after each guest, and asked every customer how they were doing and if they needed anything. Kudos to the ladies in the kitchen. I do think the AC is broken so it can’t be easy. There were also no bathrooms so I wasn’t able to wash my hands.“

“I've been to Yuan Fu numerous times, and it's always satisfying and delicious. Everything is vegan. There are so many options--it's difficult to decide. I have enjoyed both Steamed and Pan Fried Dumplings, Chicken with Mix Vegetables, Beef with Mix Vegetables, Veggie Duck with Basil and Ginger in Hot Pot, and others. I really appreciate this restaurant. It doesn't use MSG, either. Also, parking is easy.“

“The cauliflower taco on the sprouted grain tortilla is a little messy but so worth it. Kale is much better than what normally comes on a taco, and the flavor doesn’t overwhelm as kale is known to do. From the sauces, there is a good heat which was a nice surprise the first time. My favorite item on the menu which also has other great items!“

“I’ve been to hundreds of delis over the past 40 years and this one did it right- crispy fries but not burned, just right toasted wheat bread, real chicken breast and fresh green avocado on the sandwich. Portion not too big or small, friendly service, clean bright interior. I knew it was authentic when I saw the Mexican Cholula hot sauce bottle on the table. They just got it all right for me on a quiet weds afternoon, well done!“

“I’ve never had ramen soup this delicious before. So far I’ve eaten the spicy miso with chashu (pork) and the Volcano with chicken katsu. Both were amazing, but bonus points go to the chashu because it was unbelievably flavorful even after sitting in soup.

“Came for brunch and it was such a pleasant experience. It wasn't super crowded. Service was top tier! The Brunch Mania menu $38/person is FIRE. The table comes with a free bowl of feta & herb hush puppies w/ a harissa butter spread that had justtt the right kick to it. You get to choose 1 plate from 3 different lists, and order your lower priced adult beverages. My go to was their mimosa...It was definitely more champagne than OJ 😁 25cents a glass!“

“First off, the waitress was so kind and attentive! Also, the portions are huge; the photo doesn’t even do it justice! I had the pork pan fried dumplings which were some of the best I’ve ever had and the Sichuan beef noodle soup which was good, but nothing spectacular. The broth was super flavorful but the noodles and beef itself were quite average. I probably won’t return for the soups, just out of personal preference towards bigger noodles, but the dumplings were delicious!“

“We were in Gaithersburg for a soccer tournament with our son. We googled nearby Italian restaurants and stumbled upon Il pizzico. Being of Sicilian descent, I noticed they had some familiar foods you can’t just get anywhere and made a reservation. What a pleasant surprise! From the carpaccio and arancini appetizers, pasta and risotto to the gelato and cannoli desserts, everything was 5 stars. We will be back in the spring!“

“Temari Cafe has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding with a comforting meal. The ramen with rich, flavorful broth and tender noodles were amazing!! However, the sashimi was slightly disappointing, as it didn’t seem as fresh. Overall, it’s a great spot for ramen and takoyaki .“

“I grabbed a quick but tasty lunch here of their salmon teriyaki bento box. Although the vast majority of their business is take-out, they do have six tables arranged for sit down dining. So I was not surprised when the Miso soup arrived in a plastic take-out bowl with a lid with a plastic spoon. Large cubes of tofu and attention to flavor made it tasty. The California roll was served on its own heavy duty paper plate, with at least a tablespoon of pickled ginger and a teaspoon of wasabi. The teriyaki salmon, two large pieces, was served in an open to-go box, along with a sizeable portion of edamame and a house salad with a lovely ginger sauce. The salmon was perfectly cooked with enough teriyaki sauce to ensure some with every bite of salmon without the fish swimming in the sauce. Clearly a place worthy of a return visit or at least to phone ahead for take-out.“

“I looked up brunch spots in Rockville, and the reviews were awesome. So, I figured we should check it out. We ordered the breakfast and an omelet with ham and cheese, plus coffee. Everything was delicious and a good price. We met the owners, and it felt like a home-cooked meal. They were so warm and friendly, and I felt great, which made my day. We're definitely going back to try something else.“
