“My wife and I walked in without a reservation. Just looking for a happy hour place to get drinks and snacks. They sat us at the chef’s counter. It was a very pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly. Watching the chefs make the food, they kept everything clean and organized and they looked very professional. The food was delicious, we got the shrimp crostini, beet carpaccio and the fried chicken Thursday special which is a must order in my opinion. Cocktails were yummy. And price was reasonable. “I recently had the lamb shank at the gorgeous new restaurant Ammoora, and let me tell you, it was a revelation. The meat was so tender, it practically melted off the bone. While it may have been the main star, the entire meal was a standout. The service, too, was exceptional and deserves more than 5“

“I got a chicken pita wrap with Greek fries and both were so good! The wrap was super packed with everything, very filling and stuffed with toppings for such a small looking pita! Everything was wrapped nicely and nothing got soggy despite delivery. I just wish the fries were covered in some sauce, while the cheese and the flavors are great, they're kinda minimal and they don't give the fries the drenched feel I was looking for. I'll probably try a different side next time!“

“We stopped in for a very nice dinner in a casual restaurant. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. We had lamb and chicken Schwarma and both thought it was very good. The fatoosh salad and hummus was also excellent. We were very glad we stopped.“

“A new spot that we’ve been trying to go here since it opened. Very “Octo” themed and has the decor to go with it. It has a nice bar downstairs with tables in the back. Walk upstairs and you’ll find a quaint room with more tables and a very nice separate bar for private parties or as an additional bar. Everything we tasted was great and the presentation was a delight to the eyes. You have to try the octopus ceviche and the ostrich tartar. The drinks were very tasty as well and everything was adequately priced. We’re going to add this spot to our dinner outing rotation and bring our supper club members. Definitely the best spot we’ve been to in the past year.“

The French toast topped with fruit and whipped cream was outstanding. The scrambled eggs were ok. The scrapple and bacon were good. The diner is small. “The cheesesteaks and other food I have gotten here are so good. Sadly, the no "set hours" stated by owner and others is true. It will be open one night but then closed the next few nights. It's like, they make really good food, leave you wanting more, then disappear. “Of all the places we could have gone, I am glad we chose this! The lamb gyros were on point! We had all the kids with us and we chose this as our "flavor adventure" and it was a win! “I have not been here in a few years, I love the Lamb Chops and Chicken SHawarma here. We stopped here for dinner 3 months ago, and it was a nice cold night for some Mediterranean food in the area. I ts a nice spot for families and friends. The Lamb Chops are juicey and tender. I love the jelly lamb sauce or great seasonings on them. Chicken Kebabs are great with the hummus. Nice place and owners here. Good to be back again.“

“Excellent food! I’m real picky when it comes to Jamaican food so it means a lot when I say the food is delicious—well seasoned, good portion. In this picture, this is 1/2 my take out plate. I got the oxtail with rice n peas and ordered a side of plantain. Hubby got brown stew chicken and we ordered the ginger pineapple drink and sorrel. I was pleasantly surprised that the ginger pineapple drink is fresh. You can taste the real ginger and pineapple and you can taste the ginger and sorrel in the sorrel as well. “I came to have Iftar Ramadan. As soon as I entered, they asked have you had eaten Iftar? And I haven’t eaten yet. They immediately brought the Iftar with less than 5 minutes.
