“This place is a little hole in the wall... As a rule of thumb, if a little hole in the wall manages to stay open for years, the food has to be pretty good. No exception to that rule here; the food (I usually get pizza and/or subs) is always consistently good, friendly people working there, prices are pretty reasonable, and food always comes out quickly (never more than 15 mins if I am at the shop, and delivery is usually never more than 30 minutes or so from the time I place the order over the phone). Me and my wife have been eating from Universal for years now (a few times a month), and have never been dissatisfied with the food quality and the service. If you like a small friendly neighborhood independent carry-out/delivery sub shop, you will likely like this place, as I do. If you are looking for a squeaky clean cookie-cutter chain store owned by a conglomerate or a place to dine-in, this is probably not gonna be your type of place.“

Came in to sit in and eat, they don’t even have CUPS. so I have to keep buying bottle drinks instead of a 2L - how do you sit down and drink anything - pass a 2L around the table to drink out the bottle? “Ordered here for the first time a few days ago and this is one of the very very few places around here that doesn't use the same cheap tasting sickly sweet sauce without paying a fortune for pizza. If you prefer your pizza with a tangy sauce, this is the place!
Personally I think the pizza could have used a little bit more sauce, but I'll just ask for extra next time I order. Crust is pretty good, chewy how I like it. Cheese is decent too. Yeah there's better stuff out there, but I'm balling on a budget.

First off, the young gentleman at the front was the friendliest and most personable person I've ever met at any restaurant. He got us waters and menus and made small talk with us. We got the garlic knots. UPC sampler and a whole pepperoni. Everything was soooooo good!! We had so many leftovers too! What a great find!! It may sound like a small thing but my son loves the celery and they sent none the last two times just the dressing. I was told they would make up for it, So for the two missed times plus today, he got this As for me I ordered a shrimp salad sandwich on wheat toast, And it was very delicious. But by the time it got delivered the wheat toast was mushy. I could barely eat it without it falling all over the tray and my lap. But normally we love most of the food we get there. I love the white pizza and the regular pizza. The boneless wings and the bone in wings are awesome. We love their salads, onion rings and much more. We will continue to order there, just hope things get better. On Friday today I have to add that I did make a mistake and there were two extra little slices of the celery underneath the wings. My son didn't see them until today, because he had quite a few wings leftover. So I apologize for the comment I added first and just deleted. “The Cold Cut meats are prepacked together to just throw on the sub roll eith ordered. So that sub is not freshly made as a unique sandwich. The cashier never speak to you coming up to the counter or smiles most times I go there. The food is losing their sub roll stuffness too. Of course when the owner is there, service is much better.
