Sitting just off the main drag on Talbot Street in St. Michael’s, Blue Heron Coffee is pumping out deliciously crafted espresso and coffee drinks to help us all stay awake and vibrant. The staff is friendly and the menu is deep and robustly offers multiple flavors including lavender, cinnamon toast crunch, and white chocolate mocha to name a few. I downed my regular vanilla ice latte with almond milk and it had me contemplating making a U-turn and going back for round two to the hip, and colorful establishment. Make sure you stop!! 🛑“

“As someone who spends a lot of time on the road checking out local spots, Rise Up in St. Michaels is an absolute gem. Yes, the drive-thru line can get long, but don’t let that scare you off—the crew keeps things moving fast and the service is super friendly. The setup is this ridiculously cute tiny house drive-thru, and most importantly, the flavor is always 100% on point. Easily one of my favorite coffee stops when traveling through!“

“As one of the first employees of the Blue Crab under Brian and Hellen, I can say that the vibes are immaculate and you can feel their flair throughout the entire building. The coffee choice is the best on the Eastern Shore (over Rise Up) and they don’t try to be fancy with their menu. It’s fairly straightforward and everything is delicious (I’ve tasted it all). I may have moved away and be saddened by the couple stepping away but I know the folks at the bagery are just as passionate. I will continue to stop by whenever I can and support not only an amazing business but also the people in this community. I recommend you try it out whenever you’re in St. Michaels.
