“The ambience is so cozy. We went there on a rainy day. The food was tasty and the coffee was soothing. I was just visiting the town, otherwise I can think of going there again. Hopefully, I will be visiting them soon and try something different which will be as savouring as quiche.“
“We walked in late last night because I noticed they had gluten free (GF) and vegan pizza. The owner greeted us when we walked in and was very excited to make my pizza when he found out I was vegan/GF. He was proud of the level of care and compliance they adhere to when making allergy friendly options. He told us TropQ stands for “Ty’s Recipes Zero (0) Preservatives Quality.” The vegan cheese was outstanding - melted like a real cheese pizza! I will say that the thin GF crust was charred on the outside but soft on the inside, so each slice was a bit “floppy” when you picked it up. But it tasted very good. We will definitely be back!“
“Best bakery (& sandwiches) in area! European quality pastry shop, very fairly priced. Staff is friendly and very attentive. Quality is 100%! Having lived overseas and on the West Coast can say this is one of the best pastry shops ever visited. Annapolis is incredibly fortunate to have them in both Port Annapolis and Edgewater. And the small selection of sandwiches they offer is also outstanding! And delicious!“
“I literally at a playa bowls (various locations ) almost everyday. I have tried 5 different locations and it’s typically the same. Quick service, same taste and quality, similar atmosphere, busy and same fresh fruits. My personal faves are coconut based bowls and the booster smoothies but their juices and other items are just as good. “I had heard about this from a former coworker. Husband and I tried it for breakfast to go. The pastries looked great. I got the PB&J croissant and my spouse had the almond croissant. His was ready within two minutes. I had to wait on mine. And wait. I asked and was told "We'll call you when it is ready!". After 15 minutes I asked, loudly, where was my order? The staffer said "Oh it's here". It had been there the whole time. Now it was lukewarm. But it was delicious. Thus 4 stars. The staff should not act aloof. You work in a bakery, not Harrods! And take off the AirPods! It's a bad look in customer service. A tweek on service attitude and this place will be perfect ! . This place is open on Sundays.“

“I went to take my son and his friend to the mall in Annapolis and I found this Jewel, a cozy place where everything is prepared fresh daily.I dared to get off to be poor and enjoy a deliciously foamy and balanced coffee, I ordered a latte, I loved it.For dessert we shared a dulce de tres leche, I was speechless, it was super delicious, not cloying and it was the best thing I ever tried, we also ordered the dulce de Paris, we liked it but normal.To take away I ordered a chocolate mouse that was also very delicious, but my favorite is definitely the tres leche dulce.Fully recommended, the only thing is that when we went there was a line to be served and we had to wait a little, but everything else was excellent, beautiful atmosphere and friendly service with super good energy.They also have tea's, hot and cold coffees, a variety of breads, desserts and cookies, ohh and I can't fail to mention that they also have ice creams that look on another level.“
“This was my first time at this location. Rise makes great coffee with several varieties and flavors available. This location is small and when we got there, the line was out the door. There is only enough room for maybe 4-5 people to stand in line inside, so I'm sure if it was busier, the line would go out through the parking lot. The staff was very friendly and the coffee service is quick. They also sell bags of coffee and apparel options which we took advantage of. There is limited seating inside consisting of 3-4 tables and they were all full. They also have gender neutral bathrooms.Except for the quick serve breakfast sandwiches, the other food items come from a trailer behind the building. The food took a while to come out. There is also limited seating outside which would be really nice if the weather was a little warmer. The food was delicious, hot and fresh, but since it was cold outside, we ate in the car. I would consider ordering ahead if possible unless you don't mind waiting a while for food.“

“I normally don’t take the time to leave reviews, honestly because I have little time for it. With that said, when I came across a review that says I paid this much for an ice cream, I could have gotten it for half that price elsewhere, it was missing something, etc.…. It just sounds like someone has made it part of his/her personal agenda to just bash a business for whatever reason they may have! As a resident of Annapolis, and someone who wants to support all local businesses, I feel compelled to say something in response… I have had not just ice cream, but also pastries, coffee, and pretty much everything you may find at the store on a frequent basis. I don’t think they are trying to be the cheapest guy in town and compete with McDonalds for sure, but their prices seem reasonable to me… I don’t like it, I go elsewhere. You get what you pay for… I actually find it funny when someone claims that the place was not clean, or some of the ingredients were missing! Talk to them, and I am sure they will more than make it up to you, if that in fact did happen. Don’t take people for fools to advertise other places…. Bottom line!“
“Monday night Singer-Songwriter night is great. The room in the back is very intimate. You can get food and drinks back there as well. This visit I had the hummus with carrots and celery. Plenty of hummus for 1 or 2. Home made and delicious. And the music this evening was wonderful. (The songwriters series is a ticketed event) and is sold out most times.“

“Looking for a quick coffee break from all your shopping adventures in downtown Annapolis? Rise Up might be the spot! We visited here for the first time a few days ago as we were traveling through Maryland and stopped in Annapolis for the day and we were pleasantly surprised with both the seasonal maple iced latte and the iced tea we got. I didn’t see until I had already received my drink that they had a supposedly iconic coffee smoothie on their menu. That was probably their best menu item - shame I didn’t get a chance to try it. Next time!! But yeah, this place is located in a little food hall that has several different vendors all in one location. So, you can come here for food from some other places and get your coffee at Rise Up all at the same time! I really enjoyed this place, service was good, our drinks came out fast, and there really were no complaints. I will be trying the coffee smoothie next time I’m in Annapolis and stop by Rise Up!!“

“Let me start off by saying that Riley is amazing! I admittedly went to Dunkin' 10 minutes prior to them closing and halfheartedly expected that they would not have any donuts left. I arrived and the floor was mopped, everything was sparkling and there were no donuts on the shelves. I was greeted by Riley and she asked me what she could help me with and I proceeded to tell her that I was hoping to get a donut for my son's birthday. Out of nowhere, she pulls out his favorite donut...a pink frosted donut with sprinkles. Her customer service was amazing and tomorrow she will have made my son very happy as he starts his first day as a four-year-old! ?“
