“It was not very cool inside temperature wise. The bar top gets very crowded real quick with drinks, appetizers, etc.... Very Pricey , for a party of 4 with no alcohol, over $150 ! Staff was friendly, and the cook was great. Food was OK, but not spectacular!“

“The food is amazing. It was really good, but as for the yaki soba, there was just so much of it. There was a serving for about 4 people. It's a lot of food.The internal decor was an odd choice. It's a mix of japanese thing and boat stuff. It's just feels weird. But honestly, it's a nit pick.Definitely would come back.“

“This place has one heck of an atmosphere! Walls are decorated to make the place look as Japanese as possible. TV was on, playing a Japanese TV network. The restaurant had a visible food preparation area where the sushi chefs enthusiastically did their work. Restaurant did not pinch pennies on the waiters' and chefs' uniforms. The restaurant is on the corner of a row of several adjacent buildings and I liked their use of their window space. Once you open the door, the entrance is well-decorated, too. The podium the host stands behind is oddly situated, but they are making their best use of a small space, so no points taken off. The restroom was clean. I ordered escolar, toro, orata, and chicken katsu. All more than acceptable quality. I did not like the katsu sauce, but I think that's just a personal preference matter. They threw in some extra food- tuna in a circular configuration with some other elements I couldn't figure out- which I guess worked, since I'm here, writing this five-star review! Plates were high-quality, and designed to make the food more presentable.“

“This place is definitely a hole in the wall spot! The atmosphere was amazing, we ordered 8 rolls and it came out rather quickly. Our personal favorites were the Terp, Sarah, dynamite and the black eye! The service was also wonderful, our waiter checking up on us, seeing how we were doing and giving us updates, would definitely suggest trying this place out!“

“I got the deluxe poke bowl and it was so good! Great value, attention to detail and very high quality fresh ingredients- so happy they are in the airport. Grabbed a tea and an onigiri for my flight! If you are a sushi fan and in the Bwi airport stop by and grab a meal- it will not disappoint!!“

“I eat here so much I can't believe I'm just writing a review. Here's what I appreciate about Sushi Q...always consistent. The food is always prepared well. Everything tastes fresh and the service is always good. Their signature sushi rolls are amazingly creative and always good. My favorite of all of them is the Veterans Highway roll with real crabmeat. You have to try it. It doesn't matter if you eat in or get takeout, you will not go wrong here! Next time I'll take a pic of the deliciousness!“

Need I say more?!Dietary restrictions: We had a gluten free guest with us who had a wonderful and beautiful dish that was cooked on a separate grill with different sauce. “I went today for the first time and it's going to my new sushi spot. We moved to the area almost 2 years ago and have been trying all the spots. This place just blew me away. Sushi is such a personal experience and this felt like home. The atmosphere was cozy and friendly. They have a robust menu outside sushi. I also really liked their specialty roll options. Less sauces and lots of fresh options. The miso soup was flavorful and rich with seaweed. My family and I are going to be new regulars.“

“I come here every now and then, and the service is always fast and friendly. The prices are reasonable. For comparison the tonkatsu is $14.55, a couple miles down the road its $18.95. The sushi for 2 was $37 and came with lots of food. It was delicious!“

“Review Update:We have seen a major improvement in the service and food since my last review and they are back to being the best sushi spot in Annapolis. Highly recommend!We’ve been going here for years and have told all of our neighbors it’s the best sushi in Annapolis. Unfortunately, the last 2 times we ordered we’ve been really disappointed with the quality of the fish. The yellow tail has been chewy and overly fishy, the tuna was such a deep red it looked like it had been dyed and had no flavor, and the scallop was just a mess of mush and again overly fishy. I shared out disappointment with a mgr who said she was going to call me back and never did. Not sure we’ll be back, such a bummer.“

“This restaurant had great service. I enjoyed a late lunch here with my son. The atmosphere was awesome, clean and appealing. The food was AWESOME, great presentation, the miso was nice and hot. My son had the Akiro Volcano Ramen and I had a curry rice dish with shrimp tempura and it was delicious. Such a full rich taste. We will be dining here again.“

“Only reason gave it 4 stars for service was because I got sushi last behind cooked food and last I checked sushi is made raw and served raw. My party of 17 got there hot food and appetizers before I ever got my two sushi roll orders. Great tasting food. But that's the only complaint I have.“

“The food is tasty and they are pretty quick with their service. They now have a self ordering kiosk which we haven't used but plan to next time. I only gave the atmosphere 3 stars because it's not much for atmosphere. They have a few tables to sit and eat but I never used them. Mostly sit and wait. Overall they give you a decent amount of food. If you have a lot of orders they give you a box to carry your stuff out. But that was recent due to the plastic bag ban.“

My go to was the steak and scallops and it doesn't disappoint, but the price is a little steep and have to save for special occasion.“

“As a Director operations in one of the luxury hotels in Washington DC I am extremely focused on customer service and I genuinely believe that Caroline is an asset to your restaurant, please give her a good raise and take care of her because she is extremely Custemor focused, very smiley and proactive who was absolutely making sure that me and my friends were all taken care, because of Caroline’s hospitality I am going to recommend this restaurant to all my network in DC, also the food is also extremely delicious, the best thing about this restaurant is that they don’t play loud music so you can sit and chit chat, great atmosphere overall and surely a must visit.“

“I just have to say this is by far my favorite sushi resturaunt ive ever been to and their food never dissapoints. I have relied on their sushi in times of personal grief, depression, and mania. I love this place so much. I wish I could tip all of the chefs $100 each everytime I order from here I just love them. I can't reccomend this place enough. their chicken teriyaki is bomb, shrimp teriyaki is bomb, their spring rolls are delicious and crispy, their sushi is AMAZING I highly reccomend their rolls that feature their spicy tuna especially! (My favorite is the volcano roll) but most of all surprisingly my favorite item on their menu is their yum yum sauce, it's to die for. I don't know what they put it in it but it's better than any other yum yum sauce I've ever had. I just can't say enough about this place I genuinely love it. Thank you for keeping me fed and happy bento's hibachi I seriously appreciate the work you guys do.“

“I went here with my son's family on a recent visit and really enjoyed it. The seafood was so fresh and the soup and salad were very good. Being all you can eat, it was a little hard not to overdo it. The service was excellent, and they gave my two year old granddaughter the attention she wanted. The honeydew melon smoothie is the best thing Ive drank.. if there is a previous review saying something was the best im sorry ... this is it! I tried kiwi as well and it was so perfectly sweet and sour. The noodles are cooked well the food is great. The dumplings were delicious and we tried the tempura shrimp burrito it was great as well. All the food we ordered was delicious and very reasonably priced. This is crazy. Makes me think those bad reviews are malicious comments from some people. They are not real.
