“We ate lunch today at Ambar and enjoyed it immensely! I have a rare capsaicin allergy (to the compound in chili peppers), which includes paprika. The manager came over and explained what they could do for me and I was stuffed afterwards! I enjoyed beet tzatziki spread with homemade pita, lamb skewers, lamb medallions, fresh asparagus, and Brussels sprouts. The three other adults enjoyed everything else! My mango beverage was also delightful! I highly recommend this restaurant!!“

“My husband friend and I needed an early dinner near Adams Morgan so i did a quick search and found Ceibo. It was fantastic! The mushroom appetizer and the eggplant appetizer were both amazing. We all ordered the black cod entree. It was stupendous. Ill definitely return.“

“I had a strange experience a couple of weeks ago. My partner and I have dined at this establishment several times and most recent was last year. I always enjoyed the service and experience. A friend was in town and we went to Georgetown on the fly. It was a Thursday evening and I noted that there were available dining tables through the app. However, the doors were closed and locked, so we then accessed what appeared to be a bar area adjacent to the restaurant --as I wondered if the entrance had changed. A gentleman with an apron on mumbled something about the restaurant and then asked if we wanted to be seated at the bar. We declined and moved on. I did not see any notification on your website that there was an event or closure, and assume you operate on Thursdays after 5:30PM. So I am unclear if you're even still operating.“

“Me and my partner had shnitzels and a fish platter. They tasted great, especially the shnitzel. The potato salad came with a lingonberry jam which a great surprise and we loved it. Although the portions were on the smaller side, they gave us free pastries before leaving which was very kind. Some of the tables for two are a bit small and you almost worry things would topple over, but other than that, it was a cute place“
