From the ambience, to Jessica our amazing bartender, to the well crafted menu. It was a beautiful time. We all can’t wait to stop in again. “The Ruddy Duck in Solomons is an absolute must-visit! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and had a great overall vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. The food was spectacular—everything we ordered was fresh, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. You can really tell they put thought and care into their menu. Every bite was delicious, and it’s definitely the kind of place where you leave already thinking about what you want to try next time. Our server, Nicole, was amazing and incredibly attentive. She made sure we were taken care of the entire time without ever being overbearing. Her friendly attitude and attention to detail really elevated the experience. What really stood out was that the owner, Carlos, came by to check on us personally. That extra touch says a lot about how much they value their customers. He was genuinely friendly, approachable, and made us feel appreciated. Between the outstanding service, delicious food, and great atmosphere, I would highly recommend The Ruddy Duck to anyone in the area. “Late review. I have been to this restaurant several times but most recent was on Friday, 2/13/26. I can not remember the name of our waitress but she had red glasses on and was FANTASTIC. She was attentive and respectful. The food on this day was just incredible - major kudos to the chef. I ordered the cheesesteak eggrolls, poutine, and turkey club. I can not wait to come back to get these same menu items. Additionally, this place is very CLEAN!!! We are lucky to have this amazing restaurant so close to us!“
