From the ambience, to Jessica our amazing bartender, to the well crafted menu. It was a beautiful time. We all can’t wait to stop in again. “The Ruddy Duck in Solomons is an absolute must-visit! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and had a great overall vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. The food was spectacular—everything we ordered was fresh, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. You can really tell they put thought and care into their menu. Every bite was delicious, and it’s definitely the kind of place where you leave already thinking about what you want to try next time. Our server, Nicole, was amazing and incredibly attentive. She made sure we were taken care of the entire time without ever being overbearing. Her friendly attitude and attention to detail really elevated the experience. What really stood out was that the owner, Carlos, came by to check on us personally. That extra touch says a lot about how much they value their customers. He was genuinely friendly, approachable, and made us feel appreciated. Between the outstanding service, delicious food, and great atmosphere, I would highly recommend The Ruddy Duck to anyone in the area. “Even though the weather was cloudy and rainy on this late September day, our group received a warm welcome and we were served professionally and with a smile. The food is personally cooked by the owner, who also came out to greet us. The entire meal was delicious, but the conch chowder was one of the best I've ever had and a perfect choice on a rainy afternoon overlooking a lovely harbor. I highly recommend this hidden gem!“

“Went for a special event with a group of 20 or so. Ashley was our server. She did an excellent job! Food was very good and served at the right temperature. Because of the group we had a small meeting room, which made it very noisy. Otherwise it was a great venue!“
