“Quick service, food is great.“

“This place was probably one of my favorite dining experiences in DC. One of the reviews I read mentioned you’ll probably end up ordering 40-50% of the menu, and they were definitely right. For two people, we ordered 1 snack, 2 appetizers, 1 item from the “with bread” section, and 1 large share. We also got the rum cake (which was so good!) for dessert and we each had a drink. We left very full and with some leftovers from the large share.

All that aside, this place absolutely lived up to the hype! Each food item was packed with flavor and had beautiful presentation. The servers were kind and quick to help. Food comes out quickly which was nice! The music was on the louder side, but the playlist was great. We could still hear each other.

One thing to note is the menu changes slightly, so what you see in other reviews will more or less be what is available (with slight changes). For instance, we saw reviews about the chargrilled oysters but when we saw the menu it was (raw) oysters escovitch.

“This place was recommended and I am so glad we tried it. Healthy food. So many options. I ordered the Jerk Mango Salad. I didn’t change a thing and wouldn’t. Perfect kick without being too spicy. Mango salsa was the best I’ve had. We also ordered the BBQ bowl. I wouldn’t change a thing in it. Try the Red Rice. It’s really good. Staff was quick, explained the menu and ordering process and also offered a taste of you weren’t sure you’d like something. 10/10. I’ll be back again.“

“We celebrated our anniversary last night, and the setting was beautiful from the moment we walked in. The host welcomed us warmly and even wished us a happy anniversary, which felt thoughtful. And honestly, the food was outstanding. Every dish we tried was delicious.The only downside was the service, which felt rushed, like clearing plates before we were done and bringing the check right after dessert without an anniversary note. It took away from what we hoped would be a slower, more memorable celebration.“

reasonably priced, no frills, and gives you a taste of authentic Caribbean fare.

I tend to order the I got the Half Jerk Chicken with fried rice, angry mayo, angry sweet, cucumber salsa and cilantro. It has a slight kick, not too spicy but, a good flavor and the meat is tender. Even the white meat, which I am not a fan of, is pretty good and tender here.

On this visit, I tried the Jerk Chicken &. Shrimp Tacos. These bad boys are pilled high with your choice of peas n' rice or fried rice, cabbage, carrots, mango-pineapple toppings (which I opted-out) and a sweet-spicy jark sauce. I’m a sauce fanatic and like everything extra sauce and dripping everywhere….on pizza, sandwiches….on everrryythang!! I definitely recommend getting “xxxtra-sauce” on these tacos. This dish is really good and gets a total thumbs up from me!

Overall, great vibe, good customer service, and the restaurant is very clean. Glad to support this local small family business. The staff are friendly and helpful too in explaining their dishes.“

“So after long day of work I had decided to order the lamb chops with a side of Mac & cheese as well as the rice and peas. When I was finished I was mad I ate it so quick. Everything was cooked to perfection. Lamb chops were seared perfectly; Nice and tender. The sauce that was on them was wheeeeeeewieeeee amazing doesn't even begin to describe it. Then it also went well with the rice and peas and the Mac... Now the Mac wasn't your normal everyday cheese, noodles, some seasoning and that's it. Let's just say if it was tasted by Chef Ramsey he wouldn't even have anything bad to say. Never had any before like that in my life ( just hoping my mom doesn't see this review 😅).“

“I went to this location for the first time the other day and everything was good! From the music to the service to the food. There were two young people serving us that did an excellent job! If you go there, look for Analyse and Shamar. They were super professional, patient, and quick! We had no clue what we wanted to eat, but they helped us figure it out lol. I have to show some love because people these days don’t care anymore about good service. Especially young people. When I was younger, good service was important. These were two young people that took such good care of us, and the food was delicious! A+“

“i went for the late night lounge upstairs and had a wonderful time. Wes made sure our section was settled and that we had everything we needed. The DJ was a vibe and our bottle girl was very pleasant and was also present without seeming pushy. The bartender was not playing and poured really good margaritas and shots that kept the party flowing. I would def return For the cute lounge, and look forward to coming back soon to experience the restaurant. All of the food looks delicious!“

“Cool concept it’s like +6 kitchens in 1. They offer a lot of different promos on social media. From Alana pizza, I ordered the burrata and the bacon pesto pizza. The burrata was really fresh and I enjoyed the pesto pizza. From Di Fara pizza, I ordered the pepperoni, sausage and meatball pizza. Not sure if it was dough or the pizza was undercooked, but I wish there was more of a crisp to the crust. I found myself chewing longer than expected.

Location was really clean and ordering via the app was easy. There’s plenty of street parking around the shopping center. Prices are high for the area. I would definitely be back to try some of the other restaurants.“
