“We stopped in for breakfast and was greeted with a friendly smile at the small entrance near the counter. The hostess was honest about the wait and assured us it would be worth it! The chef had soft shell crab egg Benedict as a special with good old eastern shore real sautéd chunky potato hash and fresh fruit. The scrapple is cooked crispy and an original Maryland/De favorite. The service was great and the atmosphere very eclectic and cozy. A great little gem with lots of character and great local food served with love and originality~”

“We had a wonderful dinner a few weeks ago at Theo’s that was superb. The front desk was welcoming and courteous. Our server, Caroline, was efficient and accommodating. We ordered the châteaubrio for two, and the steak was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is relaxing and cozy. We are heading back again soon for another wonderful dining experience.”

“As one of the first employees of the Blue Crab under Brian and Hellen, I can say that the vibes are immaculate and you can feel their flair throughout the entire building. The coffee choice is the best on the Eastern Shore (over Rise Up) and they don’t try to be fancy with their menu. It’s fairly straightforward and everything is delicious (I’ve tasted it all). I may have moved away and be saddened by the couple stepping away but I know the folks at the bagery are just as passionate. I will continue to stop by whenever I can and support not only an amazing business but also the people in this community. I recommend you try it out whenever you’re in St. Michaels. It’s the perfect place to escape and relax for even just a moment. Thank you Brian and Hellen. I’m so grateful for your love and kindness to the St. Michaels community.”

“Since checking this place out, I have become a regular customer, and now come in 1-2x a week for a grocery restock. I have had no time to cook since the new year and had been eating out almost every meal.... but there are so few places around with healthy options. I am so picky about what fruits and veggies, organic items, etc. that I eat, and thankfully sprouts has provided great options for that! The baristas/cashiers are always so helpful and kind to us. Some of my favorites are-- ALL of the soups (seriously that chicken and rice is perfection, especially if you are under the weather), turkey chili, thai wrap, veggie wrap, egg roll in a bowl, drunken noodles, bbq chicken and succotash, the vitality ginger drink (that spice burns but feels good!), the challah and sourdough bread, eskimo bites for a treat, and the strawberry blondie brownies! I am trying new things as the menu changes, but these have been on my constant restock when available of what I have had so far!! I recently learned they can heat the items for you, so you can eat a hot meal there (I have not done this yet myself, as this is like grocery shopping for me so i take it home... but i have seen lots of people in there enjoying their meals!) I have seen some complain about the prices, but if you know the quality of what you are getting (local, organic), then you would realize these are very fair prices! If I have ever wanted to request something or had a slight issue, Sprouts has always been more than happy to accommodate. Thank you Sprouts for providing great service and food options to the community! You will see me again soon! Gluten free, Dairy free, or Flexitarian, check them out!”

“San Miguel’s Mexican Food - tasty, embracing server, great Margherita price Tonight was our first time for an early dinner at this Mexican eatery in the middle of town. Our server delivered the chips and salsa and two value priced Margheritas at $6 each. My chimichanga was flavorful and the beans and rice were good complements; my partner had the chicken quesadillas and she loved the light spiciness. Allison, our server, was so sweet and accommodating as well as being an attentive server. Prices were moderate and the servings were plentiful. Only negative was the 4% surcharge for paying by credit card, a real turn off!”

“I highly recommend this spot if you’re in the St. Michael’s area. This was my first time and my fiance and I stopped by for Valentine’s Day and apparently it’s been built up since the last time he visited with more shops in and around in walking distance. The winery itself sits inside with an artists boutique so you can wine and shop.

The winery selection isn’t too bad if you have a sweeter taste in wine. If you like more dry, the reds are the way to go! The best and most surprising one was their chocolate Zin.

The service is what makes this place a 5 star! The staff that served us was so nice! She took time to not just pour the wine but actually talk to us and shared some stories and chatted for a while! It also looked like everyone in there was having a great time along with the staff.”

“The sub and cookies I got were really good (cookies were a little TOO sweet and fattening imo). Disappointed in how the soda fountain didn't have any water. The music in the restaurant was also too loud for my comfort. Still, the service here was good, which seems like a rarity these days given reviews for other subways I've seen.”

“I'm originally from the area and haven't been here in forever because it's considered a tourist trap. However, I was in town with my husband and wanted some steamed crabs on the water and they did not disappoint! Expensive, but worth it if you just want a dozen and don't want to cook them at home and honestly they're expensive anywhere. I was skeptical but the crabs were large, meaty, and delicious! Super dog friendly which is rare for somewhere you can sit and pick crabs. Awesome service and atmosphere. We had a lovely experience and it made it even better that our dog could enjoy it with us as well. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon!!”
