“Food is made well and tasty. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants that serve bland food, but El Paraiso is not one of them. Try their bistec encebollado or their desayuno typico. I like their enchiladas myself. Also, have a Tamarindo drink...sweet.“

“Definitely worth the wait. Took me a while to time a bike ride over to Bethesda as they are only open through (late) lunchtime hours but I am grateful I was able to make it.
I sampled the combo fajitas with steak and chicken, accompanied by peppers and onions, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, and rice and beans. Everything was excellent, really good meat quality and well seasoned and grilled. Rice and beans were superb, authentic Mexican flavor.
I also squeezed in an Al Pastor taco and a Chorizo taco and both were very tasty. The Al Pastor was a lighter flavor, but really solid and nice they include the grilled pineapple as hoped. The chorizo is a chunkier variety, vs ground fine, and rich with flavor as well.
Staff is very polite and friendly, and will make modifications where they can.

“Ordered DoorDash from this place. I was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the 3 tacos. 1 chicken 1 chorizo and the other carnitas. All 3 were good. Chicken was kind of bland. The carnitas was excellent. Only downside is that the tacos stick to the paper. The chicken quesadillas was good, but again the chicken was bland. Everything was packaged well. I’ll try them again“

“Fantastic place for really good farm to table vegetarian food. This was a stop on a good tour of DC. The atmosphere is friendly and lively. The staff is fantastic. The food is amazing. I had a delicious taco that unfortunately I don't remember the name of 😑, but I did take a picture. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!“

“Been dying to try this place for a while. Loved the atmosphere. Staff was nice. Markus was a whole vibe! He had me & my gf cracking up. The Baja fish, glazed pork, & chicken tacos are my fav. We will def be back and this time it’ll be early enough to grab seats at the bar!“

“The new patio lighting is really bad. Too bright and kind of yellow like hospital lighting. Much better before when they had nice warm string lights.
But the food is excellent and the margaritas are the best we found ! Don't let the lighting turn you off, it's an awesome place to have drinks and tacos!“

“So the waitress didn't speak any English, but we worked through it. The menu is nice, simple, authentic food. Very flavorful.
Service was kind of slow considering we were a party of 2 with no one else in the restaurant at 11:30a...didn't get our (2) tacos and (1) burrito for over 30 minutes, but worth the wait.“

“Hidden gem! Parked to go into another restaurant then happened to see the orders this restaurant was bringing out, so switched gears and came here for lunch. Food was delicious: fresh, hot, tasty unique flavors. Fresh ice water available for paying customers which was nice. The staff was friendly and smiling, helpful, polite when our child was looking for the restroom and the tables were cleaned up fast which was nice as the tables were turned over quickly. Want to come back even though we don’t live close!“

“After traveling across the whole city (I was visiting for Project Glow), I was exhausted. This restaurant was a life saver. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was perfect. I would certainly come back, and it's definitely worth a visit if you're in Adams Morgan.“

“An Absolutely Delightful Experience! ??I've been driving past the 3 Hermanos food truck several times, always tempted by the tantalizing aromas but never stopping. Yesterday, I finally gave in to the craving and boy, am I glad I did!I ordered a shrimp taco bowl and a beef burrito, and the lovely lady in the truck was incredibly pleasant. She took my order with a smile and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I received my food, it looked absolutely mouth-watering, and the taste did not disappoint!Both the burrito and the shrimp taco bowl were incredibly well-balanced and full of flavor. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, and the seasoning on the beef was simply divine. We really had an awesome experience, and we'll definitely be visiting 3 Hermanos more frequently now.One thing to note about the burrito – the white sauce was delicious, but be careful .... Overall, I highly recommend 3 Hermanos for an authentic and delicious Mexican food experience. The friendly service and incredible flavors make it a must-try for anyone in the area!

“The food was really good and seasoned. I got the chicken rice bowl and added shrimp. I also couldn’t leave without trying the small steak quesadilla. The bowl was so neatly arranged, and the added shrimp were a nice size and plentiful. The tender steak, was also a big hit. Spent $34.
It was real busy, but the staff looked had it flowing nicely, organized chaos. Its alot to be trying to stand in line and not evading into another patron space while their eating.
Food didn’t take long but they leave it on the food shelf. If you don’t stay they anyone can come up and just grab your food.“

“After moving from Florida I have been tirelessly searching for a good taco place in Maryland. I was so happy to find Tacos A La Madre! When you go inside it is very under decorated, but clean and they have a good sense of branding with their black and yellow color scheme. The tacos are amazing, flavorful, and consistent every time I go. The ingredients taste fresh. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the shrimp tacos and the birria tacos! 🌮 This is our new go-to taco place. You have to go- you won’t be disappointed.“

“I spent a couple hours here because my flight was delayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My Cosmos were perfectly pink. (If they’re clear and red they’re not made correctly) and only $6 during Happy Hour. I’m not a big fan of Mexican food, Cosmos I ordered the Bora Bora marinated chicken without the tortilla over rice. It was delicious! The chicken was so tender and tasty and all the flavors were wonderful. I also enjoyed watching the surfers on TV,. The waves relaxed me instead being stressed out over a delayed flight. Definitely recommend this place for its casual atmosphere and good food. Even if you don’t like Mexican!“

“When I started my stumbling Spanish, the lady called her coworker to the window who spoke perfect English. I ordered two tasty tacos double wrapped in soft tortillas for just $7. The portions were generous, and the beef well seasoned. There's a table in a divider strip between the parking lot and the street, so the ambiance is basic taco truck.“

“Unbelievable experience at what initially looks like a carryout restaurant. When we walked in we knew we were gonna take our carryout order and sit in. The menu has a lot of variety. The food came out fresh and made to order, but it did not take a long time. I looked at the reviews and saw that the Gyro over rice looked really good, it tasted even better!!
The owner was very relatable, and very hospitable. Though you order at the counter, they bring the food to you like at a sit down restaurant! It felt almost like I was eating at a family-friend’s or my uncle’s house!
I already know what I’m going to order when I come back from my second trip! Keep up the amazing job !!
We ended up sitting for another seven minutes, waiting for the check, but we forgot we already paid, just to tell you the type of experience we got !!!“

“Great joint. Food is innovative and subtle, drawing flavor from unexpected places (as opposed to piling on the salt), and the menu has great variety, in terms of proteins, flavors, and array of dishes.
Add a fun, curated wine list, and exceptional service, all at abundantly reasonable prices, and this is one of the best pure meals you’ll get in the area.
L&C is still growing into the space, and it isn’t helped by some shabby, dated surroundings—but so much care has gone into this place, I’m really hopeful they’ll hang on and help revitalize that whole neck of the woods…“

“I found this place on DoorDash and took a chance, they did not disappoint. I always get the Tacos De Birria and it’s always still hot when I get it so I know it’s fresh. So cheesy and lots of meat and full of flavor . I’m afraid to go anywhere else to get Birria tacos cause I feel other places won’t be as good as this place.
