The tradition runs deep; my father used to frequent Kisling’s when he was younger, and it’s a place that’s been passed down through the generations, continuing to serve up cold drinks, hot wings, and plenty of good memories.

Kisling’s is a classic rowhome-style dive bar, with a narrow space that’s cozy yet packed with character. The interior is drenched in old-school charm, featuring a wood-heavy construction, sports memorabilia from local teams plastered on the walls, and a massive wood bar that stretches across most of the room. It’s the kind of place where the atmosphere is just as important as the food, and the vibe is always relaxed, making it perfect for kicking back with friends or watching the game.

The bar has a second floor that functions as overflow for the main bar downstairs, so even if it's packed—particularly during Ravens or Orioles games—you’re still likely to find a spot. These are some of the best wings you’ll find anywhere, and certainly the best in Baltimore. They’ve won numerous awards for their wings, and for good reason. The size of the wings is impressive—large, meaty, and perfectly crispy on the outside without being overcooked or greasy. But it’s the signature buffalo sauce that truly sets them apart. The balance of spice and tang is spot-on, making it so addictive that I find myself ordering them every single time I’m here (I’m a purist when it comes to wings, after all).

The wings are offered in platters of 10, 25, or 50, and you’re required to choose just one flavor per order. As mentioned, I stick with the classic buffalo, but there’s a vast selection of other sauces to choose from if you want to switch things up. Over two dozen options range from garlic parmesan and Old Bay honey BBQ to more adventurous choices like spicy sriracha and teriyaki. On a recent visit, several of my friends decided to experiment with some of the other flavors, and even they were impressed by the richness and boldness of the sauces.

For about $12 for 10 wings, the price is perfectly in line with what you’d expect from a dive bar—nothing too fancy, but you’re getting great value for the quality. Given the size and crispiness of the wings, it’s easy to share a platter with friends, making it an ideal food for a laid-back night out.

“It's important that you use the properly approved names for the flavor of your wings. "Classic Buffalo" will be met with confused stares and instructions to look at the board on the wall for correct terminology. Dude could have just been like, cool; what spice level? But he acted as if he had never heard of classic Buffalo, which I find weird. I mean it's a wing shop, how do you not understand what Buffalo means? That's like working at McDonald's and not knowing what nuggets are because you didn't say mcnuggets.Also, I don't see the point of showing someone a wrapped burger as proof of a job accomplished. We didn't realize until we got home that the burger had toppings that we specifically instructed we did NOT want. My boyfriend was so disappointed that he proclaimed that we would never return to this location.“

“I love Mexican food & this spot is one of my favorite, but as of lately the food have been off. I have been a faithful customer for over 3 years, so I'm familiar with the taste/quality of the their food. This new team they have in the Baltimore location, is not keeping up with the standards. The past several months that I went to Waverly location for the fajita burrito, it was completely off. I've experienced multiple of different issues, with my once favorite spot. *lukewarm/cold meat or burrito *cheese not melted *meat tasted weird *order incorrect or mixed up *size extremely smaller I know they are a busy business & they have always been that, but the quality has dropped. They still are a great establishment; with an excellent food selection. That's why they have faithful customers, that support them on a regular. I hope they use this feedback/review as a means to improve their services, to the same standards/quality as before. 😊“

“We are a local business and we ordered 25 pizzas for a holiday party. Best prices around and the pizza was delicious. Called the day of to confirm 6 pm delivery. 6pm the driver walked in the door. He was incredible nice and helped set up the pizzas. We are a few miles away and it was rush hour. The pizzas were so hot that we had to wait a few for them to cook down. “The food here is more than what you pay for. Typically order wings and legs. Fries are fantastic. They will tell you 10 minutes but it has never took that long. All the fried food is dropped after order which is delicious. Recently ordered the green beans for a picky eater and they said they were definite contenders.

Do not come here for atmosphere or dining. There is ONE booth and that’s it. It almost looks closed when you drive by but the staff has always been incredibly friendly.

The thing that stood out to me about their menu is that it was very straight forward and they had awesome reviews. I always get weary of pizza places that have a very long menu list with items ranging from pizza to sweet and sour chicken… #redflag lol Marcos Pizza stuck to what they know they do best and it really is the best. Great food for a great price I got the #6 2 pc catfish combo and fries for 8.99. the box was filled with fries on the bottom, and the catfish pieces were very big, it was almost like you were eating 4 pieces from another restaurant.
