I expected it to be half the amount of food I received and delightfully surprised at the amount of food I got for $11! I can see why they have 100% positive ratings. “It's been about 3 months since I first went to Beyond Ramen & Kabob, and I can't stop thinking about it. It's a small restaurant with several booths and some open tables, but it's filled with personality. The food was incredible - every single entree, every appetizer, every drink we tried was perfect. Hot, fresh, and made to order for the kabobs. The staff was super helpful and thoughtful, and I noticed them keeping an eye on all the customers from afar to make sure glasses were filled, food was served quickly, and everyone was happy. It made me feel like an honored guest. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options here, including a vegan ramen and many different vegan kabobs. They were very quick to accommodate our dietary restrictions and very thoughtful and cautious when it came to checking ingredients - very much appreciated. Will be back soon, and hopefully many more times.“

The restaurant is bright, warm, welcoming, cute, and well decorated. The staff are friendly, attentive, and sincere. We've been here four times in the three weeks since moving to Timonium. I've really enjoyed the Mala Tang, Pickled Napa Cabbage with Glass Noodles, Sautéed Triple Vegetables, any of the handmade dumplings and buns, Northeastern Eggplant in Black Bean Sauce, and Braised Beef with Potatoes. “The freshest sushi in the area. Their bass, salmon, yellowtail, and amaebi nigiri are my favorites. The pieces of fish are big, and the bed of rice is warm and well cooked/seasoned. They also offer to make their rolls with brown rice, which can be difficult to find. The server is attentive and the seating area is nice, although it's small, so I'd recommend coming before dinner when it is less crowded.“

Hidden gem! Food is always hot and fresh, and the staff is prompt and friendly. I've only ever dined in, so I can't comment on carryout. I usually get the beef & broccoli lunch plate. Shrimp toast is delicious; you can tell it's made fresh because it's not gross and soggy like other places that freeze it. In cold weather there's no better meal than their house special wonton soup. Just a great place. Modestly decorated; very clean.“

The owner came to us a couple times just to explain everything we ordered the cashew chicken and two orders of Sushi rolls and some spring rolls. Everything was delicious. “It's been a long time since I've been to Aloha Sushi in Baltimore, since before the pandemic. decided to try them for lunch and the experience was good! apparently the sushi roller, Rajesh, is back, after they changed management. I had the lunch special for the Salmon roll, the tuna role and the Boston roll! it was good and hit the spot. definitely coming back for a date, Mount Vernon is one of my favorite spots.“
