“Awesome place that supports everyone!!“

“Made a reservation here because we liked the idea of a 4 course tasting menu and trying new things. It was nice enough inside but could've looked better with tablecloths and better centerpieces. Not leaving the door to the supply closet open the whole time would've helped atmosphere too. Also, having the bar so close to the table with the server standing at it most of the time, made us feel like we had to whisper to have a private conversation or discuss the food. Server was nice enough but would represent the caliber of the menu better if she dressed in something other than jeans and a tshirt. Also, she forgot our silverware until the second course, when we asked. Food itself was a mix of OK and LOVE, no hate. Some things were absolutely amazing , while others were cooked well but slightly overseasoned. Can't really rate this place on the food though because they do a different menu every day! I would still love to try this place again and give it another shot, just not for a special occasion again, since it was too informal feeling for that.“

“Otto’s on the River was a true foodie experience. Our table of 5 ordered a few apps and entrees from steak to seafood to vegetarian. The table was very quiet once we started eating our meals. This was due to mouthfuls and chewing and sipping delicious cocktails and cold beers! Great wait staff and attention to detail. Nice atmosphere- relaxed, unhurried…highly recommend.“

“I love stopping into Lisa’s for an on the go lunch (there is seating available too). They can make anything on the menu vegan, everything is made fresh to order. They are very knowledgeable about vegan ingredients so customizing is no problem. #Veganuary“

“Over the weekend we had our wedding reception at the Ogunquit location, and it was absolutely perfect! Everything turned out better than we could have imagined. The service was exceptional, and every staff member we interacted with was so kind, professional, and attentive. The entire day ran seamlessly thanks to their incredible team — they truly went above and beyond to make our day so special. We couldn’t have been happier and can’t wait to come back for dinner soon to relive a little of the magic!“

“We do not recommend dinning in here as in our experience the service is far from good.. however the food was great! We will definitely order take out in the future but will not be returning to dine in. The server didn’t understand what my husband ordered (even though it was a beef enchilada) so he just put it in as a taco salad. So by the time he recieved the correct meal the rest of our party had already finished eating. The server didn’t ask if anyone would like a refill or another cocktail.“

“Had a great experience at Panora Bread! The manager was incredibly friendly and seemed genuinely passionate about his job. He even came out to the patio to check on how our meal was going, which really stood out. The whole staff was polite, attentive, and welcoming. It’s rare to see that level of care and customer service these days. The food was great too—fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. I’ll definitely be back!“

“I love this place. The service is great, the food is delicious and FAST, and the restaurant is always clean. I did down vote the atmosphere a bit because this is the first time I felt like an old lady (I'm 41) because I just could NOT hear our waiter. It wasn't super crowded but I had to keep making the poor lad repeat himself because the background noise was so loud. Overall, I look forward to coming back the next time I venture to Augusta.“

“Traveling through Maine from Ohio. Saw Slates mentioned in a Maine tourist magazine. Met friends here and were totally impressed with the special menu. Our waiter, Michael, was the BEST. He shared with us the story of how the restaurant began and other interesting background information. The food was delicious. If we were going to be in the area longer we would definitely make it there again.“

“Just learned this was originally Park's Diner on Front St. in Waterville!! I ate breakfast there all the time back in 1959 when I was a kid with my dad.“

“We were in town visiting from Virginia and thought we’d give it a try, as the food smelled amazing as we passed by diners as went by the outdoor seating. We ordered the Chef’s cut steak, which came with roasted potatoes and carrots. DELICIOUS! The steak was cooked perfectly, the veggies were so good I could have eaten them for a meal. We had the triple chocolate cake for dessert, totally enough for two people. It was light, and not too rich. We also suggest the Lunch Pail for a drink. The outdoor seating is just perfect for a date night!“

“Awesome vegan options! Customer service is great! The employees are always cheerful and joking. They messed up my order once and put chicken on my food, but remade it and gave me a side of guac for free which is always a bonus! 10/10. I prefer this location compared to the Augusta location. Augusta always seems packed and the customer service is not as good. Plus Augusta has messed up my food multiple times which seems to be a common theme there compared to Gardiner for whatever reason.“

“I would like to give a HUGE and I mean HUGE shout out to the woman working this morning alone when about 40 customers stormed her from the Walk for Hunger 5k that ended on your doorstep😂❤️ She was pressing a TON of ginger shots while making your always amazing smoothies and juices alone, and she did it with grace and a smile on her face like you were the only one there. Thank you so much, while you probably didn’t anticipate being the reward at the end you did an amazing job and we all appreciated you so much today!!“
