“We ate at multiple places in bar harbor during our stay. Not to discredit any of them but we went here one night ended up going back the next night! Our food was unbelievable both times (had 4 different entrees) we sat at the bar with Ryan both nights. It was amazing! “Interesting little spot on the water outside the Claremont. I was recommended to come here, however we were not staying at the Claremont so I thought it would be a little strange. Turns out it's not and this is a great spot to grab a drink and bite. The cocktails were great and the lobster roll was an 8/10.”

Cool funky vibe in this cozy, artistic space (check out the wood cuts by AC Kulik). If available try the ginger apple bourbon its Fall in a glass. Seating is limited so get there early.”

“This place is doing absolutely beautiful things for this community. We had heard about it on one of the MDI pages. My husband and I wanted to check out the popovers but what we walked away with was so much more. We were welcomed in by the volunteers, given directions on how it all worked, and were able to have some incredible popovers while listening to music. We returned our last morning on island with our entire family, including our two dogs and enjoyed popovers as we sung along to songs from the Common Good Band. It was my 7 months olds first time on the island and I am so glad she got to experience all of that. Incredible Popovers, Awesome atmosphere and great cause. We can’t wait to come back on our next visit.”

“Chose Everyday Joe’s for breakfast because it’s a little off the strip and we could get in right away. The service and food is excellent! The atmosphere feels like a converted food market (which it is) and hence the name. But if you don’t care about ambiance you should try it. Our omelets were perfect and not too greasy which happens at a lot of breakfast places. The potatoes were amazing too. I recommend Everyday Joe’s for a great meal and a good value.”

“Ordered a panini and was mistakenly given someone else’s order with 3 paninis. Once I returned to the register and informed the staff they immediately worked on sorting it out. Not only did they make sure my correct order was out in the next five minutes, they refunded my entire purchase. The food was definitely worth it and I would come back and eat here again. “Ohhhh Rouge….Where do I begin….I don’t normally leave reviews like this but in this case I just had to say something…..

It was ASTOUNDING!!!! It was my wife’s and my privilege to eat at such a true restaurant. The setting/ambience is very chill and comfortable. Our server was impressive as she was solo and had a decent number of tables to care for. She kept us feeling like we were no bother to take care of and didn’t have the need to fawn all over us which we hate anyway.
I suppose you want to know about the food…
Well, let me tell you that it’s GOOOOOOD…like soooooo good that they can bring you the totally wrong dish and it absolutely doesn’t and shouldn’t matter (thank you for the scallops Chef but the haddock rocked as well?). This isn’t just trendy “farm to table” food, this is something different. Local ingredients…sure…cool…right on. There’s just something about the prep and finishing that stands out….I say it’s love and an attitude of dedication that we as patrons are invited to share in.
If you’re a bag of tools who has expectations that must be met otherwise you’ll never go back….Good! They don’t need or want you. Be patient, be cool and most importantly…be grateful for what they’re trying to do for you. Thanks everyone! Can’t wait to see you all again.”

“A local over in Bar Harbor encouraged us to visit this place on the "quiet side" of the island. We didn't have reservations and they were full, but the hostess and the bartender were as nice as could be and took care of us at the bar. We started with the best popovers we've ever had, huge, fluffy and accompanied by soft butter and fresh Maine strawberry and wild blueberry jam, respectively. My wife enjoyed tremendous fish tacos and I had the lobster popovers. Our food was incredible and Kip, our bartender, was incredibly pleasant and helpful. The view from the restaurant is fantastic as is the food and the staff.”

“Blaze brew masters, you have an excellent recipe for your juicy hazey IPA. If you are into juicy hazey IPAs then you need to stop in and sample this one. I did not sample any of those food, but their other beers were also top notch. If you like a juicy hazey and you are in Bar Harbor Maine, look no further. The staff was welcoming and very knowledgeable.”
