“I have eaten here before and it's always been great food. This morning I was not impressed with my food. I asked for med fried eggs( & explained that the white be done and the yolk runny) & corned beef hash and toast was worn it. I got super burnt hash & the eggs were both fried with hard yolk. The toast was not served with butter or jelly, nor was I asked if I wanted any. I showed the food to the waittress & asked her to inform the cook about my food so she could hopefully not make this mistake with another customer. It was also served to me almost 5 min AFTER my friends got their food. I did eat the hash that wasn't burnt with only the hard egg yolks( the wires were crispy on the edges). I asked for butter and jelly for my toast. I will return because I love their food, but this morning I was looking forward to having a delicious breakfast with my friends. So. Food those reasons I have a 3 because my friend's food was very good for them.”

“An AWESOME place where you get real Maine summer food experience!!! Haddock baskets, burgers, Blueberry Floats and of course all the ice cream treats. To top it off, Nana and the staff are awesome and make sure food is always fresh made!! Will be back soon.”

“My husband and I visited State Lunch recently and our experience was incredible… literally a perfect night out for us. The atmosphere is great, the bar is gorgeous! We started off with drinks, tried several margaritas, all delicious! Everything we ordered for dinner was cooked to perfection, the food options were unique and all amazing! … the waitstaff was very friendly and the owner makes himself a familiar face.. he makes it a point to stop by to say hello and make sure you’re enjoying yourselves… can’t wait to get back there! “Morgan M Gave ua great service. We came in right at a 2:30 rush of christmas shoppers. Our pizza got sent to someone else (or they atleast got served long before us when they sat much after us) She was able to fix the whole situation and was very attentive ( as their oven shuts down from 3-4) we were worried we wouldnt get a pizza again in time. “Great ice cream place with both a drive thru and plenty of picnic tables and a grassy area for the kids to run around. The servings are huge. There are no kid's cone/cup sizes so expect to throw away a lot or plan on sharing with them. Both hard and soft serve and lots of options for sundaes and toppings. The ice cream itself is delicious. Highly recommend!”

“I honestly didn't expect to find world class dining so close to home. My wife and i chose the Oak Table for our anniversary and we were happy we did. We sat at the Chefs table and chatted with Chef Dan as he prepared four courses with simple and precise flavors. Simple does not mean pedestrian. Just that each dish knows what its meant to accomplish and sets out for it with astounding focus. I would be remiss to forget the cocktails which were a flavor experience in and of themselves. We will be going back for next anniversary.”

“We’ve struggled to find good food anywhere in Maine for the last year I’ve felt that all the restaurants should be featured on kitchen nightmares. We tried weathervane for the first time today and everything was delicious. Will definitely be our go to from now on for date night. The only negative would be I ish the prime rib was a bit thicker but it was still delicious”

“I want to start by expressing how much I love your restaurant—it's my favorite spot for dining and takeout, and I visit a few times a month without any issues. The food is always fantastic! However, I wanted to share my experience from today, as it was a bit disappointing. I ordered my usual steak tips, requesting a little pink, but unfortunately, they were overcooked and hard to chew. Additionally, I didn’t receive the sour cream for my potatoes, and my poutine had little to no cheese, which was surprising since it's usually great. I understand that mistakes can happen, and I’m currently at work, so I can’t return to address this in person. My boss also ordered steak tips and experienced a similar issue with them being overcooked.”
