“Fantastic customer service, even better food!”

“I have eaten here before and it's always been great food. This morning I was not impressed with my food. I asked for med fried eggs( & explained that the white be done and the yolk runny) & corned beef hash and toast was worn it. I got super burnt hash & the eggs were both fried with hard yolk. The toast was not served with butter or jelly, nor was I asked if I wanted any. I showed the food to the waittress & asked her to inform the cook about my food so she could hopefully not make this mistake with another customer. It was also served to me almost 5 min AFTER my friends got their food. I did eat the hash that wasn't burnt with only the hard egg yolks( the wires were crispy on the edges). I asked for butter and jelly for my toast. I will return because I love their food, but this morning I was looking forward to having a delicious breakfast with my friends. So. Food those reasons I have a 3 because my friend's food was very good for them.”

“We had a most enjoyable evening and dinner at the inn. Kudos to the chef but it was the staff who made our experience so enjoyable. I’ve been an innkeeper and I know the job is basically to do what you can to make the guests experience be as good as possible. The staff here, to a person, gets that and were outstanding. Five stars plus!!”

“Made a reservation here because we liked the idea of a 4 course tasting menu and trying new things. It was nice enough inside but could've looked better with tablecloths and better centerpieces. Not leaving the door to the supply closet open the whole time would've helped atmosphere too. Also, having the bar so close to the table with the server standing at it most of the time, made us feel like we had to whisper to have a private conversation or discuss the food. Server was nice enough but would represent the caliber of the menu better if she dressed in something other than jeans and a tshirt. Also, she forgot our silverware until the second course, when we asked. Food itself was a mix of OK and LOVE, no hate. Some things were absolutely amazing , while others were cooked well but slightly overseasoned. Can't really rate this place on the food though because they do a different menu every day! I would still love to try this place again and give it another shot, just not for a special occasion again, since it was too informal feeling for that.”

“My husband and I visited State Lunch recently and our experience was incredible… literally a perfect night out for us. The atmosphere is great, the bar is gorgeous! We started off with drinks, tried several margaritas, all delicious! Everything we ordered for dinner was cooked to perfection, the food options were unique and all amazing! … the waitstaff was very friendly and the owner makes himself a familiar face.. he makes it a point to stop by to say hello and make sure you’re enjoying yourselves… can’t wait to get back there! “I just started playing here this year. Great community, good food and good drinks. Yes the tee pads and parts of the course need some work. But the course has a great layout. The scramble on Sundays are a great time! Decent prices for golf as well.”

“There are several bagel places in town but Bagel Mainea is the best. Huge selection of bagels and sandwiches, plenty of cream cheese, and the best garlic mayonnaise”

“Worth a stop! My partner and I stopped here for wraps on a Saturday afternoon. I got the Teriyaki No Sake and he got the Russ-Ian-Out. Both were great! And the coffee was good, too! Whoever was working (on 4/6 at 2pm) deserves a big ol’ raise, though. She was running the front and back of the house by herself during a rush really wonderfully.”

“I want to start by expressing how much I love your restaurant—it's my favorite spot for dining and takeout, and I visit a few times a month without any issues. The food is always fantastic! However, I wanted to share my experience from today, as it was a bit disappointing. I ordered my usual steak tips, requesting a little pink, but unfortunately, they were overcooked and hard to chew. Additionally, I didn’t receive the sour cream for my potatoes, and my poutine had little to no cheese, which was surprising since it's usually great. I understand that mistakes can happen, and I’m currently at work, so I can’t return to address this in person. My boss also ordered steak tips and experienced a similar issue with them being overcooked.”
