“The best Thai food around. The appetizers are so beautifully done.Details from plates and chopsticks (you can purchase) to a solid cocktail menu and paired wine and sake.Wish I lived closer.Kid-friendliness: Always a family or two with children. No worries.”
“Cannot say enough good things about this place. Really friendly staff, incredible food, lovely outdoor seating (even in the snow). I will be back and singing the praise of Daily Soup to all :)”
“Can't go wrong with Darby's when you're in Belfast.Met up with a friend for lunch on a weekday. Was surprised to see that the cornbread was no longer complimentary. However, we ordered some as an appetizer and it was delicious as always.I ordered the Cobb salad and it was perfectly executed.”
“The food was beyond good. Very fresh, well seasoned. We will be back. The indoor space is quite small. but there is outdoor seating in the warm months.Dietary restrictions: We are gluten free and we had so many options.Parking: Few spots infront of restaurant But many spot in the public parking just beyond the building.”
“Best hotdogs in belfast. Fresh cooked dog on a hot steamed bun with your choice if toppings what's not to like. You would think it's a messy eat but the toppings are just right. Recommend the Western dog and chili cheese dog. One is not enough”
“Fabulous! We wanted a midday snack and this hit the spot. We had a dog with nacho cheese, bacon and jalapeños. Plus, a monte cristo…YUM! We could have eaten the nacho cheese on its own. Everything was delicious. Hands down, best hot dog we’ve ever had. We only wish we would have discovered your truck sooner!”
“We were visiting the area front the UK with family. The restaurant was a brilliant discovery, superb food with great service and atmosphere. Prices were very comparible with prices in the UK well worth the visit,”
“Right up my alley, coffee and bicycles! Great little place, but their hours could be a little better, it took a few trips to Belfast before I actually got to try them out. They have great coffee and reasonably priced bicycles.”
“I'm a big guy who has eaten a LOT of pizza and frankly whatever deal with some dark god Alexia's made for their crust recipe is worth it. I have no idea what is happening in that kitchen but I would rob my own mother for their pizza fresh out of the oven.”
“We went to dinner without a reservation on the very last day of the season. Even though they were out of many things, the food we did order was yummy. The service was great and the atmosphere is always nice. We highly recommend.”
“Was fortunate enough to pass by Bell the Cat as I was passing through Belfast! Clearly a local hotspot as evidenced by the many friendly people mingling inside, recognizing each other now and then. As I’d never been there before, Olivia at the counter helped me decide what to order, and was friendly, personable, and attentive. A+ for customer service! I was too late for breakfast tacos, (ends at 11am) but had an excellent meal nonetheless.I ordered a cup of the Thai Curry soup, which was highly recommended, and I can see why! Absolutely delicious. Texture was great, lemongrass especially was incredible. Warmed me right up.I also had the Chicken Poppy wrap, with feta cheese and strawberries, it was bright and summery on this cold day. Didn’t realize it came with a side of chips, that was a nice surprise. The dining area was casual and bright, restrooms clean and well-stocked, and everything was pretty reasonably priced, considering I got a full sandwich, a cup of soup, and a hot chocolate. If I’m in the area again, I would not hesitate to return :)Kid-friendliness: Casual vibe, open seating, kid-friendly”
“We had a wonderful dinner last night at Satori. I regret not trying this place before. Being off season, it was easy to walk in with no wait time. Every single dish we ordered was perfect! The drinks were great. I had ordered one of their vodka based cocktail special, which was just perfect. We ended with their Japanese cheesecake that came with a blackberry sauce and whipped cream - absolutely delicious . Great service and ambience. Definitely, coming back”
“Great food, has all the standards, and it's all yummy!Favorites: Panang Curry, Pad Thai, Appetizers (all of them), Duck Choochie, Tempura, Rice dishes, it's ALL good.A reasonable variety of Asian drinks, with or without alcohol, are also available. They also have a small assortment of cookies and native drinks and crafts that are fun impulse buys while you're at the restaurant.Vegetarian options: Make your wishes known. No problems.Parking: In front of restaurant, room for 12-15 cars.Kid-friendliness: It's a family-run place and kids are welcome,Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access. A lone person may need help to get a wheelchair in the door/over the threshold. They are happy to help! Just knock or call to alert them before getting out of your car.”
“Too bad there isn't a six-star rating, because that's what I'd give. I love the atmosphere of this place ... like a 'local's' spot, old fashioned, not fancy or shiny ... comfy. We got there at 11:35, sat at the bar, then it started to get busy. There is a nice selection of canned beers, and a couple of drafts on tap. Our server was Kym y. She was great ... made small talk and was most attentative to our needs. We wanted food, and brother, do they have it! My wife got the 'Steak Bomb', and I ordered the 'Haddock Sandwich'. Both came with a choice of a side; we chose French Fries. The 'wow' factor was definitely working here, look at the haddock sandwich, the haddock is sticking out several inches on each side of the bun! By the way, the bun was fresh, and as soft as a cloud. My wife, who is somewhat of an amateur chef, said her steak bomb was perfect, small pieces of tender steak, with no gristle. The prices are most reasonable and didn't break the bank! Another bonus, the pub is located right on the Belfast Harbor Walk, so you can enjoy a pretty walk to burn off some of those calories!”
“It was a hot and humid Wednesday in September. We were thirsty and were drawn to the Chocolate Drop Candy Shoppe by the "fresh lemonade" sign out front. We were the only ones in there and sat at the bar while we watched a young man make our fresh-squeezed lemonade. It totally hit the mark! The shop is reminiscent to a mid-century soda shop. There were many sweet treats from that era as well as more modern treats. I will go back!”
“The food was amazing, full of flavor all the way down to the rolls. We had the Bahn Mi sammich, the Crabby Cecil, and the Poutine fries. Service was quick and excellent, my food was made fresh in a matter of minutes and was gone within seconds. The view of the Hamlin's Marina was beautiful even though it was cloudy, watching the boats pass by while we're eating was a great touch to the day!”
“Nadine and I were on a New England tour and had just come from Camden and had to check in in Bar Harbor that evening. But when we discovered this wonderful location on the Passagassawakeag River and were given a spot at the boat dock, we took it easy and just enjoyed the time. We were here on September 22nd, 2023 and were there perfectly for the sunset. We had pretzels with dip, 4 beers and the super tasty shrimp (see photos and menu). The evening was one of our most beautiful highlights for dinner. I wish I lived around the corner and could stop by more often.Kid-friendliness: it's all okWheelchair accessibility: Easy to reach from the parking lot”
“China one is a family owned restaurant that has exquisite food, and a wonderful atmosphere...the prices are good and food portions I'd say are perfect..can't say enough about the place ??”
“I loved coming here! It's a warm inviting casual atmosphere right on the water. The new owners are all so nice and friendly and I wish them much success. It looks like they are off to a great start.”
“We love the Harbor Walk!!! The food is outstanding - there's many different options on the menu that we bounce around and get, and we are rarely disappointed. From the fries to the pies, Harborwalk is worth the ”
“Always fresh food and good natured employees! I don't mind having to wait a bit longer because they're cooking it right then for us instead of grabbing it from under a light.”
“It's my new favorite spot for seafood in Maine. My previous was Belfast just across the bay. I loved the experience of talking to the manager and having him walk us through the ordering process and then enjoying our food on the deck and just watching the fisherman at work.Everything, including the corn in cooked( boiled) in sea water.Ton of seating outside and insideParking: It's a big parking lot in front of the restaurant”
“This crew works so well together. It is always nice to see staff enjoy their job and work hard and in sync. The place was clean and organized. The food was great!Parking: Easy in and out.Kid-friendliness: Dinner kids enjoy!”
“I usually never post but today I had the best service from a shop/store I have in quite a longtime. I dont know the man's name but was a tall redhead and he was so nice and it really makes a difference in the world when there's still some kindness out there. He deserves a raise:)”
“Food is great, service is as well, mostly a locals hangout, so very appealing in that respect. There is a great variety of beer on tap, food as I previously noted is great, seems to be a lot of cooked from scratch, if your looking for reheated Sysco product this is NOT the place for you. Only downside is that being in downtown Belfast parking in the summer can be a PITA”
“This is small town Maine at its finest. Great service, nice people and lots of menu choices. The tennis balls on the chair legs.... hilarious yet understandable.”
“I am from NY and stopped here to grab a quick bite before heading back to NY. Even though I found all of the Maine natives to be friendly and helpful, I felt it was important to mention s young man working the counter at this DUNKIN Donuts! Bryton welcomed us and checked on us while he was finishing up with the guy in front of us. Then apologized for our wait (less than 5 mins) he was happy to explain some changes to the menu items and gave us recommendations such as the blueberry filled donut, since we were in Maine we had to try it! His smile is engaging and he was earnest in his work. He is s special person and an incredible employee. Another employee working the drive through was not very nice to Bryton and he's very very lucky I didn't jump over the counter, knock him down and scream BE NICE!! I think everyone in the world should take s lesson from Bryton he is hardworking, sweet and should be the face of DUNKIN! I hope this review gets to him, if it doesn't when/if you decide to visit Belfast, ME stop by and meet this guy. He's awesome”
“What a hidden gem. The food, especially the pastries, which I tried the most of over the weekend, were the best I've had in years! If you are in Belfast, even Waldo Cointy, it is a stop you will want to make. DELICIOUS!!”

“Great food in a cozy shabby chic Diner. You have to wait to get in, but for such a small town just to the left of nowhere, it's amazing.Parking: Free parking behind the building across the street.”
