“My husband and I have driven by this place so many times 🚗 but never had the chance to stop. Today we were in the area at just the right time and finally made it happen 🙌 OMGSH we are so glad we did! The food was outstanding, the homemade bread was incredible 🥖 and everything was so fresh. Our server Emily was an absolute blast 😄 She was fun, sarcastic (just the way we like it 😉) and made us feel like we were regulars from the moment we sat down. It’s one of those places where everyone seems to know each other, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming 🩷 We live a little over an hour away, but this spot is absolutely worth the drive. We’ll definitely be back! ✨ Sorry no food pics… we were too hungry 😆🍽️”

“3 of us went for a late lunch the the grill on Saturday. got a lot of apps. Most was good, the mushrooms, a great salad and the scallops were good. We got a shrimp app wrapped in bacon. that was bad. the shrimp was bad. the outside looked fully cooked, but shrimp was raw inside. I ate 1 and my sister ate one. I got very upset stomach where i had to get to a bathroom fast. Sister not as sick, but grossed out by it, as she ate one. My othe sister cut into it and put right down, did not eat it. We should have said something, as they won't know if ya don't say anything, and why did i pay for that? my bad. I need to speak up. The shrimp also may have been old. I really wanted to go for the dinner menu, maybe give another try, not sure. service was good, or quick. we also got buffalo fingers, did not care for the buffalo sauce, so noone ate those. we got 3 deserts, creme broule was the best, very good, chocolate cake was dry and tiramisu was not a tiramisu, it was a sweet cream cake, did not like that. Atmosphere was nice. lplace was clean. This was a special occasion for us 3 sisters, so we had good family time, Just watch out for the shrimp”

“Very nice little diner, good for lunch. Loved the fried pickles with our burghers. Gets only 4 stars because the restrooms are quite cramped. But delicious food, great service, nice staff.”

“Had a impromptu dinner date with my 9 yr old Lil one tonight. Cassie was our server and was excellent. She greeted us, got our drinks. Lemonade for the wee one and for me a Espresso Martini (which was excellent). We had some Bruschetta to start and the little one tried and liked it. She told us about the specials of the night, then we ordered our meal. Chicken tenders for him ( I swear he is gonna turn into a chicken tender someday, lol) and Steak tips, Mashed, green beans for me. Everything was excellent. Dessert was a scoop of Black Raspberry for him and Creme brulee for me, both delicious. I had a long week of work and this experience hit the spot. Friendly people nice atmosphere and nice music. I will be back sometime soon. I hope the next experience will be just as good.”

“Very unimpressed by a pizza that I was excited to try based on reviews. the "Venus Fly Trap" pie was a huge letdown...cheap tasting pepperoni, flavorless ricotta, and bland "hot" honey. My roommate tried a slice and was equally disappointed. Not sure I will try again.”

“Hidden gem of a deli in Sanford. Roast beef special is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. They have many other delicious choices as well. Cash only, but they do have an ATM inside. Lovely ladies working here. Support your local small business!”

“This part of Maine has stores and gas stations that all serve food and before Nouria ruined it, each was unique. You went to that one place for the good pizza, and the other for the good ice cream. Such were vacations of my childhood, as it was for many I expect.
This place has food that is as good as can be found in these beautiful arcane little New England stores. There are a dozen within 5 miles, at least, and all serve decent chow. If youre on the lakes in western York county within...20 miles of here, it offers....an artisinal take on the ubiquitous deliciousness found throughout the region in the American classics: Pizza, sandwiches, soups, salads, and sundries. Also, they sell candied bacon like beef jerky and maple cheese popcorn and that's how a 15 dollar lunch gets over 30 dollars but thats on me, prices are competitive. lol. Well worth it. ❤️🇺🇸🫵🔥🔥🔥”

“My wife ordered a cappuccino and their GF rice Krispy treat. Unfortunately, they didn't have the chocolate chip cookies she likes. The drive thru wait was about 8 minutes before we could make it through. As a gluten free, dairy free, soy free person, I didn't see anything there that I could eat.

This is a drive thru picky location. Drive thru windows on both sides.”

“Sanford House of Pizza has been the go to Pizza shop in Sanford for 50 years. The House Special is the best in the area! If you are looking for a Sandwich the hot grinders are delicious. Make sure to try a Big beef or Super beef, these are incredible!

“Tried for the first time tonight. Ordered for pickup. Burgers were cook perfectly to our ask of medium and were very good, fries are cut too large for our liking but they were good. Other meal was fried chicken tenders and that was very good. We will go back.”
