💬 My Experience:
We stopped by Firehouse Subs for a quick lunch while on the road. As always, their subs are top-notch. My son ordered the Caribbean Jerk Turkey on garlic bread, which was a great touch, and I had The Engineer, both sandwiches were flavorful and satisfying.
That said, I was a bit surprised at the total, over $30 for two sandwich meals. I don’t eat fast food often, so the price point caught me off guard. It felt more like sit-down restaurant pricing, though the quality was definitely solid.
One thing I wish restaurants would do differently is provide more transparency when asking customers to round up for a charity or donate at the point of sale. It’s not always clear what the cause is or where the money goes, and the added tip prompt for fast food service can also feel a bit misplaced.

“Staff was so kind and friendly! Loved the lady who took my order and made my blizzard. It's a small little shop but a great vibe. She added extra dry gram crackers to my new York style cheesecake blizzard and it added texture that I loved just like she said it would.“

“10/10. I do not EVER write reviews unless I’m made to feel a certain way about an establishment. Your employee, Anna, give her a raise. She was genuine, charismatic, personable, on point, greeting me right away providing EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. No doubt in my mind that this woman does not fully exceed expectations, she’s an EXCEPTIONAL employee who goes ABOVE AND BEYOND and this corporation is ABSOLUTELY lucky to have her! “Food was good and order came out fast but the guy working the front window just hands me my drinks and bag without saying a word. got shorted on a fry. what happened to good customer service anyway?? a simple thank you or have a nice day goes a long way in this Industry. "if you don't treat the customer right, somebody else will". have a great day. edit- a week later, same location. gives us a diet Pepsi instead of a regular and fries are barely warm at lunch time. this location needs some improvement.“

“Well, this was my first and last time at a Jersey Mike's! TBH, the Danny DeVito commercials made it look good but it was disappointing. I ordered the Big Kahauna chicken sub and asked Ian to leave the jalapeños out. After he asked if it was dine in or takeout, I said takeout. I paid, got my receipt (she asked me if I wanted a receipt!), which said "DINE IN" at the top, and went to the rest room, which took about a minute. When I came out and started waiting, people who'd ordered after me were getting their sandwiches. After 15 minutes I was just about to ask about mine when a woman in line said, "She's been waiting a long time!" The cashier went to look for my sandwich and it was sitting off to the side somewhere, all bagged up. Anyway, when I got it home and unwrapped it, it was just a mess, with everything mushed up and spilling out. It also had jalapeños on it. And it was really salty. I thought I'd give Jersey Mike's a try, I did, and I'm out!“

“Quite little place with friendly staff! I ordered my favorite meatball marinara and they had run out of meatballs! Lol but Kajal helped me out and made the sandwiches for us as soon as they came in and let me enjoy my favorite! Thank you Kajal for excellent service and wonderful food!“
“This is a great Subway, not even compared to the one in Topsham (although that is a stark comparison) but just in general. I've now been many times. The place is spotlessly clean, and sandwiches are made quickly and exactly the way they're ordered. Service is very accommodating and welcoming, even forty minutes before closing time. The young lady behind the counter, who seems like the manager--or if she's not, definitely has an attitude of knowing what she's doing--is openly friendly, and because of that I've tipped well every time I've been in. While the Subway in Topsham next to the Circle K is a little grubby and as of two weeks ago is worked by some staff members who are openly irritated and inconvenienced by the idea of a customer, this Brunswick Subway stands out as a warm and comfortable experience in comparison. I definitely recommend the Brunswick Subway over the Topsham one, even for people who live very near to the Topsham one. Good stuff 👍🏻
Kid-friendliness: Was not playing loud music that is inappropriate for kids, which was noticeable after experiences with the Topsham Subway.“
