“We passed by this place many times. So glad we finally stopped in and sorry it wasn’t sooner. Pastry Twist is light and buttery. Cinnamon Roll is delicious. Amazing Apple Streusel Cheesecake Bombs! Gluten free scones and more. Monhegan Coffee Roasters coffee and tea served. Whole bean and teas sold for take-away. Next time, we’ll try the savory options. Definitely returning again.”

“Just stopped on the road to have lunch at a Mom and Pop’s bakery in Pennsylvania. I ordered the chicken pot pie. I literally paused eating the pot pie; to write this review, in the booth. Giggle. I just had this silky disappointed thought that every pot pie I order in my travels pales in comparison to Jess’s at Port Clyde Village Ice cream. Thought I should at least pause and share this silly but real disappointment. In all my travels East to West coast, West to East coast; Jess’s chicken pot pie’s are the best!Miss you Jess and your pot pies! Back to my, meh, chicken pot pie! 🙃❤️”

“A wonderful local bakery with friendly staff. Their rosemary loaf is delicious! We visit Nobleboro from Connecticut a couple of times each year and we make sure we stop by to buy a loaf or two to take back with us.”

“so it was only our second time in but the service was wonderful. food was okay had heard good things so we gave it a go. it seemed rushed and just okay but I'm not complaining, what was lacking in the food department was definitely made up for by the service, we will give it a go again and hope for a better delivery. everyone has an off night.”

“Had a delicious, iced vanilla latte the other day and would highly recommend it. My wife got an iced coffee with caramel and said it was delicious. You can't beat the view/location - right on the dock with views of the harbor and boats/ships coming and going. The harbor is currently (August 2024) under construction on both sides of the building - a fire and coastal storms recently wrecked most of the port. But it will come back to life beautifully. Parking can be sparse so get there early on weekends/holidays.

“I was just there about 1.5 hours ago. Definitely family owned. Even got to play pool/billiards with the owner. If I lived in port Clyde id come very often. Very welcoming and friendly.”

“Love this place. People from all walks of life. You can talk to the table next to you, and it doesn't much matter where they're from. Does that make sense? Go... you will see what I mean. The food is fantastic. The service gets 5 stars from me because they do their best with the staff shortage in Maine. The atmosphere is all about the people. Sit down and strike up a conversation with the table next to you. You'll see what I mean. I'm a little upset that they got rid of the pool table, but I can live without it.”

“Had really low expectations here, as the area isn’t known for having great restaurants, but I was pleasantly surprised. The nachos were good; burger was good, chicken parm was good, although the ribeye steak was mediocre. The fries are amazing. Waitress was attentive and prompt.”

“Standard Subway restaurant with friendly staff. They made great subs for us without much of a wait. More expensive than I rememberd...hadn't been to a Subway in more than 10 years, but still reasonably priced. We paid about 20 bucks for two steak and cheese footlongs with all kinds of veggies added to both.”
