“We ordered at 6:15 and the food arrived at 8:20,... you know what? I am GLSD that they didn't cook it and leave it under a heat lamp. They KNOW they have limited delivery employees and they time the cooking of the food to sync up with when they can get it to your door. The driver, Christian was apologetic when he didn't have to be. I gave the poor guy an extra tip. Unemployement is almost non-existent, but there are 8-1/2 million job openings in the US. The economy is so strong, there are no workers to hire. Maybe let some immigrants in and put them to work versus forcing them to wait for 6 months to get a job!“

“We love just stopping in and grabbing a quick slice of pizza when we are hungry. The variety to choose from is always great. It gets us trying new things and we have always been happy with our slice (or two!) Staff is friendly, place is clean, good is delicious.“

Our pizza got sent to someone else (or they atleast got served long before us when they sat much after us) She was able to fix the whole situation and was very attentive ( as their oven shuts down from 3-4) we were worried we wouldnt get a pizza again in time. “I've been a regular customer of Whippers Pizza ? since 2019.
What I enjoy about Whippers is the positive attitudes of all the staff.
Even in those moments when they have more orders than hands.
From the time that I have placed my order to go!
I know that my Toasted Ham and Salami sub with provolone cheese with all the fresh vegetables, and olive oil put on before toasting. ( No lettuce) is going too be consistent of what I usually order, DELICIOUS ?
I think that Whippers fries ? are some of the best that I have ever tasted.
Always hot and crispy!

Something else that is always important too me is the fact that I have never visited Whippers Pizza ? when it was dirty.
The counters are always being wiped down, the booths, as well as the staff members are always washing their hands.
Whippers Pizza ? is a great! place too eat on those nights that you are running late and need a good meal on the way home from where ever you are traveling from.
Or on the weekend when no one feels like cooking??

“Really good fresh dough pizza. It's unfortunate the quality is not consistent. When it's on, it's hands down the best pizza in Augusta (pepperoni pizza photo). Often times it will be overcooked and dry (breakfast pizza photo). For an $11.99 ham Dagwood, I would like to see more meat.“

“By far the best steak and cheese sandwich I've had in my short time in Maine. The bread was the most delicious part. The taste of it and the texture were perfect! I was a dine in and started looking for a place to sit. The dining area was not well cleaned. Every table was unkempt like they had a huge rush and just forgot about it. “The pretzels with beer cheese is the epitome of perfect snacking. Soft and warm, and the seasoning they use is so salty and savory. It took 3 bites before the beer cheese was even touched, but that didn't disappoint either!!
We got the cup& char pepperoni with hot honey, which was the better of the two pizzas. That was a split opinion, as we also got the pulled pork, apple, and red onion pizza, which sounds unusual... IT'S NOT. The flavors are perfect together.
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is because of the price. Two pizzas and a pretzel appetizer was $80! We didn't get any drinks or desserts, and the hot honey was the only "extra" pizza topping. I don't mean to sound cheap, because their ingredients and preparation were PERFECT. Just a little startling to see that.
We will definitely try more from this place.“
