The place was insanely busy before a Pitbull concert across the river. If you’re looking for a spot to enjoy a beer and listen to a show from the opposite bank, this is one of the best. Tropic Like It’s Hot, their 6% fruited sour, was our favorite of the beers we tried.“

“They have the best scallops I've ever had! Most restaurants put so much coating on them but not these guys. They are the only place where I get seafood. I hope they stay around forever! The music is great too.“

Everything is packed separately: lobster meat in PINT-SIZED containers, coleslaw, French fries and two rolls (there’s more than enough lobster to fill two rolls). “We tried M Thai on a date night and we couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. We were seated quickly and given as much time as we needed to look over the menu. We ordered appetizers that were delicious. For our main courses we had duck pho and the crispy pad Thai, which was amazing. We didn’t order dessert but I’m sure it would’ve been great. This place is a must visit if you’re in Bangor.“

“At Uno's in Bangor, ME yesterday (04/15/25)....My husband doesn't like the chunky sauce and likes the sauce on the bottom....my exact order was marina sauce (not chunky) and sauce on the bottom, no sauce on the top like a regular pizza ....my order WAS repeated back to me correctly. Great, see you in 25 minutes. How'd they do?? Sauce all over the top....it was marina but I specifically asked for the sauce to be on the bottom. Even the tag in the pizza box was correct. When I called them to complain as this is the SECOND time this has happened (first time we didn't call) the manager (who also made this pizza) made all kinds of excuses, this is how we do it, we don't make them with no sauce on the top, try calling in your order next time vs doing it online (this was a call in order not online), maybe explain it better next time, maybe tell them you want it made in the reverse order.... In the end, we still have this pizza, not guaranteed a refund and they've lost us as a customer!! $51 plus a $5 tip for this pizza & a gluten free. I just checked my bank account and I'm not seeing a charge yet so maybe she did refund after we hung up but not sure yet. Very poor customer service, especially by the manager!!“

“We were visiting here from PHX and are a bit of Mexican food snobs. This place was outstanding and rivals any of our haunts in AZ. Service was speedy and the quesobirra was excellent. We will definitely come back to this spot next time we’re in the area!“

“This is a sandwich shop within the Bangor Maine airport. Ample selection- food is good. This is one of the few options for food within the small airport. No frills. No table service but friendly staff at counter while ordering. If at Bangor Airport, good to go here. Good option.“

The portions were huge and the food was good. The service was spot on too. Unbeknownst to us, we left a wallet at the restaurant. We called after hours (once we realized) and the staff worked with us to ge the wallet this evening. (It was needed for a flight tomorrow.). At pickup they were extremely gracious and would not accept a tip. I will go out of my way to eat there this summer!“

“I never miss a chance to eat at Dysarts. I grew up in northern Maine around truck drivers. I love that through the years Dysarts hasn't changed. Looks the same outside and inside as it did 30 years ago when I was in my 20s.

Hubby and I were the only customers and why this place is not busier.

Got pork lo mein and it was absolutely delicious. It came out pipping hot and the color was just right not too light nor dark as some restaurants out there do. Either too little dark soy sauce or too much where the food looks unappetizing.
The seasoning is just right not too salty as some of these dishes can be.
They won me over with their lo mein.

My hubby dish was Szechuan chicken combo w/ egg roll and was equally good . Fresh, tender chicken pieces with perfectly cooked vegetables and crispy egg rolls as app.
So glad i stopped in today and will in the future. You should definitely give it a try if you have not.“

“Nicole is our waitress every Friday night and she is fantastic. I call ahead with a count of people and 9 tines out of ten they recognize my number and answer the phone calling me by name. Everyone is friendly! Im a steak or burger girl and im always happy when I leave!“

“OJ is a Bangor STAPLE! It has been there for as long as I can remember and it’s grown and changed along with the times, I wish they would open their buffet back up…. But if you want the best chinese food and best service, this is the place to go!“

“The food is often great and at worst decent if you arrive at the wrong time after it's been out for a while but before it's replaced, but it's fairly easy to tell which category it is.

There's plenty of variety, including all five food groups. Unfortunately, unless you like ice cream or peanuts, don't bother with the dessert menu. The price is certainly worth it.

The atmosphere and people there are great, just make sure not to expect perfection, just expect an experience you won't forget for the right reasons.“

“Dined there on 6/8/26 4pm. If Chloe would like to make more money waiting tables, she needs to improve her job performance (especially when the place is nearly empty). Always bring the condiment tray over to the table being sure it contains more than one napkin. After serving the food always return to the table no less than a couple minutes to make sure the customer(s) are satisfied with their food. Don't know who chooses the background music but that got one star. A return visit is in the future.“
