“Iv been to this subway many times, the young man in there ,usually nights, he s quick, personable and fast, great customer service, I would reccomend you dont loose ”
“During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of trying their Chocolate Explosion ice cream, which quickly became my favorite flavor. The rich and creamy texture combined with the indulgent chocolate flavors made it a truly delightful treat.Accompanying me was a lactose-intolerant friend who opted for the Lemon Sorbet. Despite its mashed potato-like appearance, my friend was pleasantly surprised by its deliciousness, finding it to be a refreshing and tangy delight. One of the conveniences of Hero's Take Out & Dairy Bar is their drive-through option. This allows you to enjoy their delectable ice cream without even leaving your vehicle, perfect for those on the go or looking for a quick treat. The staff at Hero's Take Out & Dairy Bar were friendly and provided excellent service, further enhancing the overall experience.”
“The vegan meal we gad was excellent, and the staff and atmosphere were wonderful. They were kind enough to make a different appetizer than was on the menu due to peanut allergies. They also put a candle in my spouse's sorbet for their birthday, but didn't embarrass us by singing or anything like that. Will definitely come again.Dietary restrictions: Vegan food was great and they were able to accommodate a menu change for an allergy.”
“This was our first time at Timber and we're extremely impressed. The food was incredible and Grace, our waitress, was lovely and very efficient. We will definately be back.”
“I'm from the deep South. I have a hard time finding BBQ joints that are Southern quality in the North. This is one of those places. This tasted like home. They don't have a sampler, which is my only very slight complaint. They did, however, let me get a kids plate and add all the different barbecued goodness as sides. It cost me like $22 to get everything that I wanted like that plus a drink. I'm definitely going back.Vegetarian options: No, they don't have vegetarian barbecued meat.Kid-friendliness: They have kid's meals.”
“My wife and I really enjoyed our experience here at this restaurant. I completely forgot that they had complimentary valet parking, so I parked a distance and we ended up walking. If there was one criticism I could make, it would be that the music being played did not fit the atmosphere.”
“Great food and plenty of gluten free options without concern of contamination! Gluten free pizza and burgers are great! Their cauliflower appetizer is amazing!! Great date night at a great price point and service has always been wonderful.”
“My #1 choice to go for when I want or need fresh seafood. The inside of the shop is small but don't let that fool you. Wide variety of fresh and frozen fish and seafood. Outdoor picnic area During the warmer months. Definitely check them out if you are looking for top quality seafood.”
“So cute inside. Real diner feels. Not a ton of seating and it does look like it could be busy on weekends but it's worth a stop. They have specials and home made jam and baked goods to go. Very homey and hits the spot. Way better to go here than ihop or dennys or something like that.”
“Our go to spot in Bangor! Their team is amazing and always makes us feel welcome. A great atmosphere, awesome food & drink menus and lots of delicious specials as well. We love the cheesesteak and the nacho dorito wrap. We have never had anything but an excellent experience. Hands down the best casual restaurant in the area.”
“I rarely ever leave reviews online but Jen and Joe deserve a great one! The food is consistent and delicious while not breaking the bank. You can dine here for lunch and feel totally satiated. All of the staff are friendly and efficient. The owners have instilled their work ethic into this business. Check them out!”
“The food was top notch. Great service. Really cool space. Menu options are elevated without being snooty and pair so well with the curated wine and cocktail menu. We had The Brandied Camembert, The Pork Belly, Chicken and Waffles, and Birria Tacos. All were delicious, thoughtful, and expertly cooked, but the pork belly was done so well, so perfect, that I foresee an addiction developing. At 8pm on a Friday night we had no problem finding street parking out front. This place is jewel on the Bangor dining scene crown and should not be missed! Don't sleep on it!”
“I was visiting the area for a workshop. There was a huge ice snowstorm, and this lovely restaurant was one of the few open. The owner was extremely knowledgeable, gracious and accommodating to the three of us in the party. All of us had different food allergies. The food was amazing and you can see she puts her love and heart into everything she makes. Must visit restaurant if you’re in the area.Dietary restrictions: Her menu is mostly vegan and vegetarian. There are lots of gluten-free options. She makes all her own sauces and uses locally farmed vegetables.”
“It's a nice spot, very clean and cozy.A little small, if it's busy, but enough seating for 15-18 people, give or take.Staff was friendly and service was fast. I will definitely visit again to try different menu items, the hazelnut latte was good.”
“Sweet service, sweet ice cream. I had a fudge brownie and it was delightful! I also had fudge and sprinkles because that's how I love ice cream, with plenty of toppings. The persons behind the counter were super nice. This is a walk up with plenty of parking and benches behind the building and on the side. No inside to sit in but if it's not raining, it's not a problem!”
“WELL WORN Irish pub that I am sure has seen a lot of fun late nights. Had the Guinness barbecue pub burger. Cooked perfect. A bun that held up to the half pound of beef. House potato chips were excellent. Of course Guinness and Harp Beer on tap. Gets crowded, even for lunch.”
“It was ok. First time going there. Service was good. Not real busy at that time. That's what I like. Business was picking up as we were ending our meal. Will definitely go again. Maybe next time we will try ”
“I was there on a colder evening about 45 minutes before close with only 1 car ahead of me. Service was fast. I got The Closer (brownie sundae) and a small bowl of whipped cream for my dog. Be aware that you pay for the cup for the dog in addition to paying for the whipped cream.Parking: When summer is in full swing, be cautious of parking in the spaces that lead to the drive-thru window as you can get blocked in by cars waiting in line.”
“Always go to Tempelhofer Feld in Germany at the end of a music festival and look for a man in a red chicken costume who will sell you the best special flour with the best quality and hospitality.(This is advertising from the German state)”
“Don’t let the location fool you! I ordered takeout here, and somehow managed to order everything except a Japanese dish. I can be a bit picky after growing up in japan, but let me tell you… even just the side salad made my day! The dressing on it took me back!! I’m excited to try more of their food, I’m very pleased.”
“Tried and true! I'm from northern Maine and live in NH. Always stop by on my way through for a beer or two and boneless reserve wings! Best boneless wings I've had, anywhere, no contest. Real good beer, cocktails, and pub food.”
“Guys hangout a few weeks ago and I fogot how chill this place was. Showed up early as get hopping after 7pm. Just wanted to keep ordering as food and beverages all great. Gets noisy so hope you're used to it.”
“A really great tasting, friendly service, local restaurant. Grilled pork chop was amazing and my friend has the braised short rib and I highly recommend either one.”
“Wonderful khao soi! Didn't be afraid of this one, as it's not too common. It's a creamy chicken curry that's not too spicy and pairs well with a Thai iced tea or iced coffee.”
“My boyfriend and I participated in the Valentine’s Day themed Scavenger Hunt, which included some amazing downtown businesses. Benjamin’s was the final stop, and actually put all the clues together for the hunt! It was such a fun way to get out of the house, and we even each got a free whoopie pie for hunting? I hadn’t been to Benjamins before, but the atmosphere was welcoming. We will definitely be in for some pool and darts some night!!”
“Really fantastic. People commenting about the drunken noodles and pad thai weren't wrong. It's a small place without much seating inside (2 tables), so just a heads up. But I'd highly recommend the place for food.”
“First time ever. Always been a dunkin fan. Wanted a frozen like drink what they recommended wasnt frozen was more life a latte was really sweet not my favorite. Had some timbits they was good. Overall not bad just not my type of coffee place.”
“This place is INCREDIBLE. Absolutely delicious. How can they make chicken so tender and flavorful? No idea. But they do. And the service was excellent. I will absolutely be back. This reminds us of the kabob in the DC area where there’s a large Pakistani community. Highly, highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: Brought my 4yo son who was being a bit whines some French fries and ketchup. My son still inhaled the chicken kebob.”
“Such an unassuming, “hole in the wall” place, but y’all…wow. As a frequent traveler, I find myself all over the country and try to support local businesses every chance I get. Had to make a random trip to Bangor, ME and needed a quick lunch spot. Google reviews did not fail me! Wonderful service at the counter and the sandwiches were *AMAZING*. Don’t let the exterior and tiny interior fool you. Will 100% go back!”
“This Dunkin always gets my order right! They are even begining to know me by the sound of my voice and are able to finish my order threw drive-thru when I start. Bathroom is always clean. Tables are always clean! Employees are very personable and friendly. I am very happy this is my local D.D.Only issue I have is with the Dunkin app. You can't add liquid sugar to a frozen coffee order so im not able to pre order with the app.”
