“We went to Franny's for our anniversary and it was the perfect night!! We sat at the bar and it was great. Bar Keep Mary and the young lady working with her were super!! Friendly, chatty and very helpful with making suggestions as everything looked and sounded delicious!! And it was!!! Old Fashions to start, Squash blossoms, steak, Tuna, Crème Brulé, wine and espresso martini!!! Everything was incredible!!! The restaurant itself was warm and cozy on a cold rainy night in September!! We will be back!”

“We have dined at 18 Central many times over the years. The restaurant is warm and inviting, located at Rockport Harbor. Be sure to check out the amazing view from the back with the seasonal deck! The food is incredible! Our party usually gets a variety of steaks, seafood and raw bar. Chef Patrick and his team create high quality and super tasty dishes. Jessica and her team’s offer top notch hospitality. Beautiful wine list and well executed cocktails are a plus! The restaurant is open year round (with a well-deserved) break, I believe. “I might be too much of a traditionalist but...I had my mouth all set for red flannel hash, was really looking forward to the sweetness that only beets can provide...and unfortunately they used pickled beets :( The description said "beet slaw", so I had anticipated thinner slivers to be in the equation, - but not vinegar. So close to perfection! (sigh). Maybe next time they'll go "old school".”

“This review is short and sweet. It’s a five. Go there and eat.

Ok. Don’t roll up on this place and roll your eyes and leave. That haddock sandwich is something to write about. I snagged that baguette the second the baker put it on the shelf. Still warm! The tartar sauce is scratch made and delicious. Skip the fries and get the onion rings. Slaw is yummy.

In the cooler are some fresh made sandwiches. The sandwich bread is perfection and they are made fresh. I loved the egg salad. My husband had chicken salad and said it was very good.

Grab some seafood from the market on your way out to take home.

Note: the seafood market has limited indoor dining.”

“I had the baked potato pizza. My husband got the buffalo chicken pizza. Everything was delicious. It was literally some of the best food I’ve tasted. The waitress was extremely nice and attentive as well. For 2 pizzas and 2 drinks it was less than $40. That’s a good deal for any restaurant on the coast”
