“I found this place pretty incidentally on my way up to cutler for a vacation trip. Saw the reviews and got excited. Honestly, the pictures and reviews do this place only partial justice. Upon entering the restaurant, it was readily apparent that the place was run by a family. I was quickly greeted by Sandy, the owner, who was warm and inviting. I was quickly seated and given a menu. From our chat, most of her seafood was locally sourced. Upon receiving the food, i quickly realized how very generous the portions were despite the reasonable prices. the quality of the food was superb—the scallops were supple and sweet, clams gently briny yet delicate, and the haddock…well, it tasted like haddock and not like batter and oil.

The diner is a hidden treasure. I’m shocked i’m not seeing places like reddit chatting up a storm about this place. if you’re visiting or driving through, make it a point to visit. if i’m ever back, i’ll surely be planning for a return.“
