“This place has grown. Others have run it, down through the years. It has not gotten bigger....today it sits there, not your clam shack and hot dog shed like on any New England beach. This is Pine Point, Maine. Having a snack spot there has always been great, but what you get from Emma would be yummy on its own, the atmosphere and scenery just make it immortal.“

“I loved my salad and the service was good. The place is quite large (and not very busy) but there were long periods of time without service. Not our servers fault. Our booth was very nice and roomy but not visable to the rest of the restaurant. Our server really seemed to care. I was a little annoyed that the “free refillable sodas” that came with the kids’ meals was only for certain sodas. Not clear on the menu and not explained when we ordered. The kids would have been happy with cokes or sprites. $22 later on soda, when the bill came, we realized sofas weren’t so free. I don’t mind spending money but hate wasting it.“

“This is a food court Johnny Rockets in South Portland. The shakes here are high quality and the food is a really well done, on top of the staff is very nice. Again it was a very good burger. This is more like an 80s burger joint family style. the food was excellent. However....I shake, 1 fry, 1 burger, 1 soda. $31.00 before tip.“

“Cowbell Scarborough surpasses expectations every time I visit. The servers are friendly, attentive and polite. The food is 95% of the time correct, and if it’s not correct it is quickly resolved. Accountability is always appreciated and in this restaurant it’s certainly valued by the front of house. If you had a poor experience before, I’d recommend trying again!“

“The best blizzards in southern Maine are at the Saco DQ, love that they use whole M&M’s in their blizzards instead of being all chopped up. Also they give plenty of treats in the blizzards and aren’t skimpy like other DQ’s I have been to.“

“June 29, 2024 First time visit on Alfred Street, Biddeford Maine 04005. A woman came in and asked the cashier if able to speak to management, the cashier went to the manager standing in the front of the retrieving the sandwiches she called his name, He said " What" in a anger way, the cashier stated a customer wish to him, I am busy not now, as he stood there waiting on sandwich to be made. just standing, not doing anything. The lady left, and the customer waiting for the meals all shaking their heads, as I also. The rudeness, especially to the cashier who spoked kind to him. I received my Whooper, cold bread, and meat, abd returned it. Saw there was another management ( Assistant), asked her if I could speak to her about what I saw, was refused stating the same as the Manager, I have to do the orders first, for me to wait till she has finished the orders. I stated that I just wanted say how rude the Manager was to a woman, she stated "Well" I quess I have to listen to you now. So told her what we saw, and she stated "you done now"? I said I quess I am, I have it recorded. She said good, and turned back to make orders. It's our last visit there, and feel so bad for the workers who have to work for both the Manager and Assistant, if they treat the customers in this manner, can only imagine what the workers have to endure. “I would just like to tell a very short story about how my friend Rex who is 65 years old he is a homeless man out of the Portland area. I took him in to Denny's in Portland to get breakfast on a cold Winter's day in January 2022. We ordered our food with our server who was very rude and after eating our cold yucky breakfast my friend Rex was refused a bathroom to use and then the manager came out and told us for NO REASON, to leave and never come back! It was the worst experience because all my friend Rex needed was a hot breakfast he doesn't bother anyone and never sticks up for himself or creates a fuss! So in looking for another breakfast place to eat we found IHOP in Portland and from the start of walking into that restaurant was so nice and clean the hostess was amazing and sat us immediately with a smile our server Bethany she was amazing so nice and kind she took our order and treated us like human beings she was not judgmental and she took our order the same way she takes everyone's orders with a smile and gracious heart! My friend Rex absolutely loves his fried eggs and his bacon so we now visit the Portland IHOP twice a week. I had told the servers about what had happened to us with our experience at Denny's and the server from IHOP told Rex and myself that we were allowed at IHOP anytime and that they would love to have us!! I can't even tell you how much this warms my heart knowing that I can take my friend who has fallen on some hard times into a restaurant to eat a very nice warm meal and have the best servers in the best wait staff around us! You are amazing IHOP and we love you so much! We will be there every Tuesday and Friday for bacon and eggs comforted by the graciousness and smiles of everyone in the restaurant at IHOP! Keep on being the most amazing restaurant in the world because from my point of view you absolutely are! We love you IHOP thank you so much for your hospitality!“

“My kindergarten or first grade class visited this BK about 1976 as a field trip and I remember the brown and orange uniforms and the flame broiler. It's the same building and it's looking good. The food was great today, service great and quick. So sad when the Scarborough BK closed but I still make it over to the South Portland store for a real treat!“

“Upon entry we were greeted by a man who opened the door for us, which is pretty unheard of in this day and age. We waited around a minute for the table, but the food came pretty quickly and it was delicious. I had the chicken parmesan over fettucine alfredo and would rate it an 8.5/10. The service was great and the overall vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant was good too. Easy to find parking and fairly priced food.“

“Fantastic pizza!! Me and my boyfriend went here to get a pizza before catching the train and let me tell you, heaven on earth. Ordered ahead and got a large pizza for $24, ready in about 15 minutes. I've had some bad experiences with the salads in the past (as others have mentioned), but the pizza experience is like no other. Stringy cheese, fragrant meats, and a good sized crust. ❤️
