That perfect soft but slight chew to a hard serve ice cream you’re looking for. Got the Heavenly Hash, kinda like a classic Rocky Road. The prices are surprisingly low for the size and quality. “The Gelato Fiasco was a nice surprise to enjoy an ice cream at the end of the evening. The flavors offered are varied and original, and the waiter, particularly kind that evening, took the time to let us taste those that intrigued us the most. Thanks to his advice, we found our favorite perfumes. Ideally located, it is a perfect address for a delicious dessert outside of a restaurant. Despite the cold, tasting this ice cream was a real pleasure. A big thank you to the waiter for his welcome and his kindness, which made the experience even better!“

“Our favorite soft serve spot! The rotation of flavors makes it exciting to try something new, but the classic vanilla or chocolate or swirl is ALWAYS so good! They have a big selection of toppings, milkshakes, and an option for the sugar-free or vegan people, too! There is sometimes a lengthy line but it’s totally worth it (it moves fast 🙂)“

“Best Gelato I’ve ever had! I’ve been to a few different places but none even compare. I had the Hazelnut and Sea Salt Caramel and they were mouth watering. “We visited July 7 for the first time. The ice cream was great (can't go wrong with Shaker Park Pond) but the interior and layout is lovely and we melet Melissa, the owner, who was incredibly friendly. We'll go back for fancy coffee (and more ice cream) for certain!!“

“Cash only! Totally worth a stop. So many options. They have classic and unusual flavors. They have regular ice cream and also have coconut milk based, water based, and vegan options. Service was great. The kiddie size was pretty big - a 2 scoop at other places.

I did just see a group of Boomers yelling at the poor ice cream scooper kid about how the Garside website says they make Rum Raisin but that they don't have it at the shop. Literally had to step in and put them in check so the dude could do his job. Yelling at a kid who has nothing to do with building the website or making the ice cream...?“
“The best blizzards in southern Maine are at the Saco DQ, love that they use whole M&M’s in their blizzards instead of being all chopped up. Also they give plenty of treats in the blizzards and aren’t skimpy like other DQ’s I have been to.“

“People are pleasant and clean atmosphere. I gave 4 stars because I love homemade verses soft serve, but still a good quick treat! A few great options, but size is small for the amount of cost. Of course, I always love the ice cream cakes! Which if you had an app can gain points towards!“

“After walking around for more than an hour, this was a perfect spot to get some delicious ice cream. This is a beautiful small store, with some space to sit inside the store. In the other corner they have some store swags for sale.
They had about 20 flavors in the menu. Three different cup sizes were available. The price was very generous, small for only $5.40. We picked the vanilla ice cream with m&m topping. Our whole family loved the flavor and texture of the ice cream. It was dense and really creamy. No icy patch in the middle.
There were two teenagers at the register. Both were very attentive and gave everyone a friendly service. Lots of people outside the store were hanging out and eating the ice they got from the store.“

“Tried this place for the first time as I explored downtown Portland and wow is it yummy! I got the salted caramel and it was some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I know others complained about not being able to
sample but I personally like this policy. Cuts down on waste + keeps line moving quicker. Service was fast + friendly. I look forward to returning and trying other flavors.“
