“I didn't know they had food here, but the drinks are pretty good.Cheat code: if the bar downstairs is too crowded, just go upstairs to the bar up there. This venue is such a beautiful place and because of the steep seating there is no bad seat in the house. I sat in the balcony for a concert and felt like I was in the front row! Really amazing spot to see an artist.“
“Absolutely adore Turfs. Great bar, amazing staff, and tasty snacks. A lovely, down to earth sports bar with lots of activities happening around it. Cascobay Sports does a variety in their half gym attached to the bar, making it a great way to 21+ athletic fun“
“There's been something missing in my heart since Rivalries-Portland closed down. That hole is still empty, but Fore Play is a welcome substitute now. Given the other options in town-I think this is THE place to be for Sunday football games. So many TVs upstairs and downstairs, and they have access to every game you could need. I think I liked sitting at the upstairs bar the most, but there was also some couch seating upstairs that seemed cozy. I was here for the Bills-Dolphins game and had the best time. It was my first time coming in, and I was a little intimidated walking in alone. Everyone was kind, and I enjoyed the selection of beers (and they have jello shots!) They do NOT have food here. But you are welcome to buy your own food and bring it in. Dedicated sports fans seem to bring in an assortment of finger foods on the weekends (meatballs, chips, etc).“
“Steak was cooked as ordered but was a bit to salty and a little tough. Our server was great, very attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She was the highlight of our meal. The atmosphere was as expected but the background music was not background but was foreground and loud. It made it difficult to have a conversation.“
“Our takeout order was ready at the time requested and we got help bringing our large order to the car. Kids and adults had delicious food! My lobster roll was FULL of lobster, and wings were awesome, too. Thank you! We will definitely be coming back again.“
“Cheese steak and potato wedges... the ultimate combo and go to at Romeos (with a tall glass of your favorite beer on the side, of course). A top recommendation casual spot for family and friends visiting Maine. Definitely a must stop by spot for atmosphere, food and drink selection. Pizza is also a 10 out of 10 choice if you're for thick crust. Many thin crust spots in Maine, but if you're looking for a thicker crust pizza, this is your go to... TRUST ME.“
“Went in for our first visit during the first weekend of the NCAA Basketball Tournament and they were hopping right from noon on. The bar area is a great setup to watch games, staff and bartenders were excellent. We were there for about 8 hours so had a wide array of drinks, bar food, happy hour food, and sandwiches. Everything was good and is definitely the spot to watch games and grab something to eat.“
“First time visiting it was a friendly atmosphere. I ordered a Mai Tai and it was good a little strong but good. They had a great deal on daily meal, but I had already ate before getting there. They have a few video games and you can shoot pool if you like.“

“Visited while on vacation in Portland. It was one of the only places we could get into on a busy Sunday night. Just a casual bar to enjoy drinks and a quick bite with standard bar food. Cheeseburger and fries were good and service was excellent. I would recommend for a lowkey dinner or drink in the area.“
