“Leslie is there!! The local legend Todd, is there. (He's been bar tending in Rockkand for over 20 years. I refuse to tell you how I know this?)

I didn't rate the food because I go there to drink. I have had a snack here and there, and it was delicious, but not a meal, so I'm not qualified to rate it, so I won't.

We can't forget about Casidy! She's so bubbly and sweet! She makes you feel at home with the gruff, high pitched voice. ALWAYS has a smile that just melts your heart ❤️.

My family was up visiting from Virginia, and I made them come here.

This is the classic American "dive bar" (I say that in the most complimentary, respectful way), which is a MUST visit.“

“Very family friendly and hospitable. The owner talked to me as if I was family instantly. The beers are basic though so there is room for experimentation. But... In my opinion, family-friendly places matter more than beer selection. DEFINITELY the best brewery in town“

“Love this place. People from all walks of life. You can talk to the table next to you, and it doesn't much matter where they're from. Does that make sense? Go... you will see what I mean. The food is fantastic. The service gets 5 stars from me because they do their best with the staff shortage in Maine. The atmosphere is all about the people. Sit down and strike up a conversation with the table next to you. You'll see what I mean. I'm a little upset that they got rid of the pool table, but I can live without it.“

“My review is based off of the tamales just ordered. I grew up in Panama and it was one the best treats to get fresh tamales. It didn’t happen very often- but when it did, I loved them so much. And obviously in Maine- it’s almost impossible to find them- especially authentic. I was quite impressed with Sammy’s take on tamales. Of course- they are not the exact replica of what I had- but they are very impressive. And it’s A LOT of work to make them. It’s not Taco Bell. These are real tamales and I truly hope they don’t go away. Thanks so much for adding these into the Midcoast menu taking the time. Truly delicious. 🇵🇦“

“Good Experience at Rock Harbor Pub & Brewery

Finding parking in Rockland is tough, especially with an RV! Luckily, after checking in at the campground, they suggested I park at Pier 2 near the Light House Museum and Police Station. I was looking for a simple bite to eat and some time to walk around, so I stopped into Rock Harbor Pub & Brewery on Main Street.

The atmosphere was great, though the service was a bit slow and disorganized. It wasn’t clear who was handling customers, but no big deal—just added a bit more time to the visit. I started with the Rock Harbor French Fries and was curious to try their Rock Harbor Beer Cheese. The fries were basic, and the beer cheese wasn't what I expected—it was more of a paste than melted cheese. For my beer, I went with the Spruce Head Stout. It had strong chocolate and coffee undertones, but the balance was a bit off—the chocolate overpowered the beer a bit. It reminded me of Young’s Double Chocolate Stout from Eagle Brewery.

For my main dish, I asked the bartender for a recommendation between the tacos or another item. She suggested the Chicken Tacos, one of the most basic items on the menu. I think there was a missed opportunity to upsell, but I understand how it is being in the industry myself. The food overall was decent, and I left a good tip for the bartender on both card and cash.

All in all, it was a good experience. I’ll definitely be back!
