“Wonderful breakfast spot close proximity to Higgins Beach! We stopped by this morning after taking the dog to the beach.

The staff were quite friendly and helpful for two newbies. Limited menu items but the items on the menu were ALL amazingly good - so very much worth the stop!!

We ended up getting the breakfast sandwich and I added sausage (which was crispy but not dry - perfect for the sandwich), a breakfast burrito, and a cinnamon roll with a whipped cream cheese frosting. (See photos)

One thing I noticed was a lot of options for prepared meals! With the amount of vacation rentals in the area, this would be a perfect spot to grab go for dinner with the family while visiting!“

“We just left there after having the fried whole belly clams. Absolutely delicious! It’s the cutest place to hang out and have some great seafood. The staff is friendly too! We had gone to another(big)place in the area the night before and we were very disappointed . Luckily we found the Salty Bay! today! I love the seating out back with the beautiful view and the Tavern on site where they serve drinks is great. Nice set up! We’ll be back!“

“We worked mostly with Christopher to supply cider, beer, and wine for our wedding this past Sunday. My husband and I really wanted to keep it as local and sustainable as possible and he helped make it possible. He had expert knowledge of pretty much everything in stock and the breweries they came from. My husband and I aren't big drinkers so we really appreciated his guidance. It was so great working with him that we invited him to crash the reception and at least get some cake.“

The staff was so welcoming and quick to take care of us, which made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable right from the start. The food was absolutely delicious—cooked perfectly, beautifully plated, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The portion sizes were just right: generous without being overwhelming. I also loved the atmosphere! The music added to the vibe without being so loud that we had to shout across the table. It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right, but this one did. “Great food made on the premises, including homemade desserts and sourdough bread. Try the charcuterie plate with several cheese, fruit, nuts, bread and a rotating sliced meat. Or the grilled shrimp or tuna, both yummy. Cocktails, wine, espresso -- choices galore. gotta love the espresso martini, even a decaf one! Jazz or blues background music, no headbanger stuff. Relax and enjoy...“

“Great place! Clean, friendly, lots of cool pinball machines both new and old. We were only able to stop in for a bit while visiting the area, but we'll be back for sure again sometime :)“

“Had an amazing time hanging out at the Tavern. Right away we were charmed by the bartender; Niko, shoutout, you’re the best. The bar food is delicious, better than a lot of more expensive places! We played pool, the other patrons were awesome and super chill to hang out with. We’re not even local but anytime we’re in the area we are sure to stop by Spring Point Tavern!“

“Cash only, but they have an ATM. Food is delicious and more affordable than a lot of places in the area. Everyone behind the bar has always been very friendly, starting with Rick who retired a few years and carrying on with the new bartenders. I also love that it’s been around since the 1930s, as one of the first bars around to reopen after prohibition. It’s definitely a neighborhood gem!“
