“We stopped here after my husband a job in Scarborough, and wow… what an incredible surprise. The whole place has that true Maine vibe — cozy, welcoming, and super friendly. Our server Eric was awesome from start to finish. My husband ordered the pork schnitzel and absolutely loved it. I had the butternut squash linguine with prosciutto, roasted squash, arugula, and their homemade crostini bread… incredible. I even saved half so I could enjoy it again another day. Hubby tried two of their 5oz beers (Space Ghost and Santa’s Reinbeer) and enjoyed both. But the show-stealer? The apple crisp cheesecake. 🍎 Hubby took one bite and said, “This is so good it should be outlawed.” And honestly, he wasn’t wrong. It was ridiculous in the best way. We left talking about how we’re glad we live two hours away, because we’d be here every day if we didn’t. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area. Amazing food, great vibe, great service.“

“Arrived at 11:30 and was seated by a very personable host. Seated by the window with a fabulous view of the water. Delightful. Greeted immediately by the attentive server. Wine and a great lunch consisting of mussels, a baratta salad and a wedge salad with chicken. The food was wonderful, the view was wonderful and the service was wonderful. Finished with a great cup of coffee and a slice of blueberry pie. My companions and I could not have been more pleased. Love this location.“

“Fantastic menu! I felt like I just walked into a glamorous pub in England when I saw the menu choices. The cocktail list is loaded with great drinks AND there are two happy hours daily! I had a delicious toasted cheese sandwich with bacon and tomato —so huge I could barely finish half. It came with a heap of perfectly fried hand cut potatoes. My sister got a lovely bowl of French onion soup to start and the steak frites as a main course. There was a big sliced steak done to perfection! We will return regularly! *****“

“Townhouse Pub is a trap. A beautiful, chaotic, feral little trap. You walk in for one drink and suddenly it’s hours later, your voice is gone, your phone battery is at 6%, (no worries, chargers AT the bar) and you’re having the time of your life. The drinks are criminally good and the vibes are unhinged in the best way possible. And Bailey?? Absolute feral bartender energy (in the best way). Lightning fast, dangerously funny, pours like she’s trying to solve your problems, and somehow runs the entire bar while roasting you and making you feel loved at the same time. “Our new favorite bar in Portland. We Went in with the family for a few drinks. The staff were extremely helpful, came right over to make sure we had a table and took our order. The atmosphere was great and they had some cool drinks. We will definitely be back, thanks again 👍

“Great atmosphere with many tables, but not cramped. They have pool tables, darts and a separate function room. A huge outdoor deck is available when it's warm. The food was amazing. Had the fish n chips and it was great. Great selection of wings.“

“We recently visited (5 adults and two young kids) and had a great time. Really only one of the adults had any knowledge or experience with golf. It was still fun for everyone. Live open mic blues night rocked our socks off with some serious talent including the likes of renowned guitarist Mike Hayward.
