“Provender is a cut above the rest, hands down. Everything is flawless - but you need to try the mussels, the burger and the chicken parm with a side of pasta (if you’re lucky enough to go while it’s on the menu). The torte was also wonderful for dessert.

It is clear how much the chef and all of the staff really care, down to the freshness of every single ingredient. There is no restaurant in town that even comes close.”

“Food is good, Father's day they had an awesome French toast that I still want to go back for. Sadly they are not really handicap accessible. There is one table for two at the left of the door that you can work with in a manual wheelchair if it is available. Other than that one table though, there is no other options that you don't get in the way or get bumped into, as the only other two top table is in the middle of the already tight isle. I sadly do not recommend this restaurant if you having any mobility issues.”

“Excellent food and beverages! I order here almost on a weekly basis! They are my go to spot for just about anything I am craving. Today I ordered breakfast and had a friend scoop up the order for me while I was at work. That friend didn’t realize my drink wasn’t with my order upon delivering. So I messaged the cafe and the owner delivered my drink plus one more for the mishap! It wasn’t a big issue but he went above and beyond to help make this right. That kindness blew me away. I highly recommend Paul and his team! 🩵”

“Marlitini's Restaurant is your typical coastal type restaurant in Blue Hill, Maine. I frequent that place often for these specific reasons that make them stand out from any restaurant I've ever been at. I'm greeted immediately when I walk through the door, it took only a couple times for me to go there for the bartender to know exactly what I wanted to drink, and despite the food choices not standing out with variety, the quality of food is always to notch. If you've had a great experience with one dish, you can leave and come back a month later to the same expectation or better. They go way above to make sure you are taken care of and exceed expectations. Jessie is frequently the bartender there and its refreshing to see when I walk in a smile on her face as she's already starting to pour my drink. If she can't get to me, she does what most people fail to do in the service industry now and acknowledges me confirming what I want to drink and saying she get right to me. Ed is also a huge part of this restaurant and exceeds most people's standards when it comes to dining at a restaurant. Knowing that my partner and I like to sit at the bar but was unfortunately full when we arrived last time, he made sure to let the bartender know we were waiting for a seat and then he proceeded to sit us down in a closed off area getting our drinks orders (which jessie was already doing) and took our food orders right then. The food came out shortly after which was surprising since the place was packed. Even though we didn't get our seats at the bar, the staff extended themselves to ensure our experience was the best, which I see time and time again done for other customers. Not being from that area originally, I feel like I have always belonged there.”

“Three of us stopped in for a late lunch at 3pm on A Wednesday. Margaritas, Coors and Diet Coke got us stared with chips and salsa. Lunch included tacos, a sampler trip and chicken chimichanga. The portions were huge and the food was good. The service was spot on too. Unbeknownst to us, we left a wallet at the restaurant. We called after hours (once we realized) and the staff worked with us to ge the wallet this evening. (It was needed for a flight tomorrow.). At pickup they were extremely gracious and would not accept a tip. I will go out of my way to eat there this summer!”

“Good pizza with the normal toppings... thin enough to fold, but not quite as thin as NY pizza (IYKYK). Their home-made chicken tenders with fries are a family favorite. The baklava is the real deal. Only order to go, but the staff are always friendly and curtious even when they're swamped.”
