“I love this bakery. I was so excited when it first opened. They keep a perfect variety of items from a sweet tooths dream to a cozy coffee pairing pastry. Even when I get in late and they are almost cleared out I can find something to satiate a craving.“

“Divine cupcakes. Every bite is to die for. The staff is amazing. They went above and beyond when I ordered kitty themed cupcakes for my daughter's birthday party. They even frosted the mini ones to look like cats. I don't even like eating sweets but I always crave their cupcakes and I'm planning to pick up some soon again. The frosting is real?, not like the ones in most bakeries where it tastes artificial.Parking: Off season - no problem, but once the tourist season starts it might be tricky to find a parking spot. You can try parking by the library and walking back.“

“The lemon blueberry cake I got for a very special occasion was the most flavorful and prettiest cake I have ever had. Not too sweet or cloying. One guest said, “I don’t usually like cake, but I would eat this anytime, any day!” Truly fabulous!“

“What a jewel! I had the best cup of Chai Tea in the two weeks of my vacation. I had a raspberry square and my husband had two eclairs. I bought a oatmeal cookie pie to take home. I was HUGE! I nibbled on it for four days. Everything was fantastic.“

“Absolutely marvelous lunch at this hidden gem. We figured it would be good because all the reviews were so good and it lived up to its reputation! We always thought that Dimillo’s in Portland had the best Haddock Chowder around, but they have met their match! Potatoes cooked just right and lots of fish. I had the fish tacos and my husband couldn’t resist the Heovos Rancheros. The only thing that rivaled the food was the staff. The hostess was a peach - warm & friendly with a great sense of humor and Kim, our waitress, was great. Very cute, efficient and friendly despite being busier than a one-armed paper hanger! Did I mention the bloody Mary’s? By the way - don’t go - I don’t want you to take my seat!“

“Quality spot with local produce, dairy, and meats, in addition to a fairly good selection of high quality imports; oils, vinegars, pasta, condiments, cheeses, butters, etc... I love the unique variety. Their pastries are pretty good, I have tried many but often don't feel the need to have them again. They have a great rotating bread selection, my favorite is the fruit and nut sourdough available on Saturdays. I took 1 star off for the breakfast sandwich. I first had it about a year ago and it was AMAZING. Grilled to perfection with toasty bread and a delicious tomato chutney. I wanted everyone I knew to try it. Unfortunately the quality is so intermittent, often I don't even want to gamble on it anymore. Sometimes the English muffin is super softy and almost soggy, I think from being in the deli foil wrap. More than once I've received a sandwich with a missing ingredient (either no chutney or no greens or no meat) did they just run out? I don't know, but it's disappointing when it happens. Overall I like this place a lot, but the breakfast sandwich situation is a bummer for me since I know how good it could be.“
