I came to the Acadia area on a camping trip. I stopped at currents for a quick bite. i ordered the lobster roll. it was exceptional, so much so that I came back at dinner time for their foot long mastador lobster roll. It was the best lobster roll I have ever had. This is coming from a guy that has either worked in or owned my own seafood restaurant for the last 30 years. my wife said the Korean chicken sandwich was great also. great job guys.

Currents Seafood & Spirits offers fantastic food and drinks. The risotto, smashburger, and lobster mac and cheese are especially superb, while the lobster rolls, chowder, and po' boy remain great after a recent upgrade. The upstairs bar has a relaxed, lively vibe and the bartender is very attentive, making guests feel at home and quickly serving food and drinks. Calamari is the best ever, perfectly cooked, light and full of flavor. The relaxed atmosphere and quick service make it a great spot to avoid touristy crowds.
